Once he hears Jacqueline call for him, his eyes stop glowing and his voice returns to its normal tone. He then turns to her to see who it was. Going through this vessel's memory banks, she seems to be one of his servants. For now, he decides to play along.
"Ah, Jacqueline. I'm glad you can make it. As you can see though, I'm quite fine. I do appreciate your concern. However, did you have enough time to rest?"

Jacqueline gazed at Raphael with some concern again before she answered his question.
"Euh… Yes… I had time to rest a little but I ran to find you and got tired again… but… hum…"
Maybe it was not necessary to tell all that happened to her, beside Jacqueline had other worries than talking about herself.
"Hum… What happened? Is that Soul Edge?"
Gazing at Solnhofen she asked:
"And… who are you?"
The assassin tried to hide his trouble since he didn’t really know what to answer and simply said:
"I’m Solnhofen."
He felt slightly out of place in a civilized conversation… Maybe he should have left before she came… But he then got a hold of himself: Whatever, he didn’t have to answer to her and would just have to kill her if she annoyed him. Somehow thinking of this made him feel more at ease and he suddenly looked more confident and grim.
Jacqueline didn’t really appreciate that man, he seemed too unpleasant for her. So she turned once more to her master for answers.

He then points the blade upwards as he looks at it. However, the eye stares back at Jacqueline and looks her over.
"It is indeed the legendary Soul Edge. Now it's finally in my possession..."
He then lowers his sword and looks at the both of them.
"Anyways, I need to get to the armory you two, so let's get going."
And with that, he starts walking off.

Jacqueline gazed at Soul Edge: the sword was giving her chills and she quickly turned her head away, not daring to look at it any longer.
She also wondered: How did Raphael got the sword so fast? And that mysterious man? Where does he come from? She could feel he was malfested… Had Raphael turned him into a minion? Maybe that was why he looked so unpleasant… He somehow was an adversary before… Maybe.
Those persons falling from the sky… Was it that man and Soul Edge or something? Raphael then quickly found them, turned the man into a minion and took Soul Edge? It was quite fast but… maybe… So much questions… yet Jacqueline thought it was not the time to drop endless questions at Raphael, she would ask later… Now Raphael asked to follow him so she would obey.
"Yes master Raphael."
Solnhofen didn’t like the vampire maid, she seemed stupid and annoying…
But it was fun to think that she had no clue that she was alone now… Her master being already destroyed… If they wished, they could kill her like that…
The vampire repressed a cruel smile before it showed since he didn't want Jacqueline to notice. For now the maid was maybe useful so she would live sometime more it seems… As long as Soul Edge would wish… Soul Edge had power over the lives of both of them after all…
The assassin knew that he should not displease his feared master, so saying nothing, he also followed him.

Raphael... wow, that's a stupid name. It's a name of one of the supposed archangels in Christianity. It's completely unfitting of him, the symbol of destruction. This vessel is of French heritage, so he should at least have an awesome French name.
"Ah yes, speaking of which. I no longer wish to be called Raphael. Refer to me as... Dumas."
After some time passes, the three of them reach the armory. Based on the information Soul Edge is secretly feeding him, there should be a spare suit of armor for him in here. After all, only Soul Edge knows that hidden under Ostrheinsburg, there are multiple bodies stored away in case he needs a new vessel. It's only natural he has equipment stored away for those vessels if and when they need it.
Inside the armory, there is a vast collection of weapons and armor from all over the world that Stefan once possessed. However, most of the collection does not have much meaning for Inferno. Dumas starts searching along the walls and presses a hidden button. Suddenly, a secret door slides opens in front of Dumas and he strolls right in.
Inside, there was a collection of azure colored plate armor strewn across the walls. Dumas looks over the collection and stops at one that not only catches his eye but he thinks it fits him as well. The azure armor had a pale and dull gold inlay and the helmet had a red mane with an orange spike on the top. The entire appearance had a subtle bat motif to it.
Dumas reaches for the armor and takes it apart bit by bit. Dumas quickly strips himself down to his underwear and starts putting on a layer of black underclothes to prevent chaffing from the armor and leather armor pieces on top of that for further reinforcement. He also grabs the face mask, Deceit of Persona, hidden in the helmet and places it over his face.
As Dumas quickly works getting on the greaves, he calls the maid over since putting on a full plate of armor unfortunately requires outside assistance. "Jacqueline, help me get this armor on."

"Ah yes, speaking of which. I no longer wish to be called Raphael. Refer to me as... Dumas.
Jacqueline made a confused face. Huh? Dumas? Why? Is it Raphael’s family name? No, it’s Sorel… Unless it was his mother’s maiden name? But why would he change name? Maybe he has a plan… but in what changing his name would be useful to find Amy? Amy will be even more confused if she escaped; she will look for Raphael, not some Dumas… Jacqueline really didn’t understand the reason behind this decision but answered him:
"Yes… huh… monsieur Dumas? Master Dumas?"
Solnhofen didn’t understand the reason behind Inferno’s decision either. Why change name to confuse that stupid maid even more? She had to think he was Raphael, not some Dumas… But he still kept quiet, Soul Edge was the master.
Inside the armory, Jacqueline was still surprised as Raphael/Dumas seemed to know the place so well but then he already came here so he might have discovered that already… And she wasn’t surprised when she noticed that he choose the armour with the subtle bat motif… She knew her master…
But when Raphael quickly stripped in front of her, taking off even his pants, Jacqueline widened her eyes in surprise and deeply blushed in embarrassment.
"Huh…"
He had a very nice body she already saw his bare chest sometimes but she never thought he would be so immodest as to take off his pants in front of her! Troubled by this ‘strip tease’, she turned around to not see him getting completely undressed.
Seeing Jacqueline all frozen in embarrassment made Solnhofen almost burst out in laughing. That maid was funny after all… But he tried to keep his serious and apart from a slight smile, said nothing.
"Jacqueline, help me get this armor on."
"Huh… Yes master Rapha.. huh, Dumas."
Jacqueline slowly turned to see with relief that her master was now dressed in black clothes. Less intimidated, she then went to help him put his armour parts as he requested and took the opportunity to ask him about his plan and Amy.
"Hum… master… Dumas… I was wondering… what is the plan exactly? Do you have any idea how to… get back the young mistress?"
She didn’t want to upset him too much by mentioning his daughter but she had to know. Unbeknown to her that she was so right, Jacqueline also wondered (with some sarcasm) with Raphael’s new Dumas fantasy: And… is she still called Amy?

Dumas hesitated a bit because he really had no idea who she was talking about. However, Soul Edge whispered to him that this young mistress in question happens to be Amy, whom this vessel was vehemently searching for. Soul Edge completely removed those memories of her to prevent Dumas from getting sidetracked on a pointless mission. Using this information, Dumas tried to reassure her.
"Amy... Unfortunately, it seems that we aren't going to find her here. Now that I have Soul Edge though, I'm going back to my original plan of changing the entire world for her sake. It will be easier to find her this way rather than going out on wild goose chases."
Of course, Dumas is only speaking in half truths. He's going to change the world because that what Soul Edge wants. Everything that Soul Edge desires is his desire. In manipulating Raphael's soul and memories, Soul Edge figures he might as well turn that passion into something useful.

Jacqueline wondered how he suddenly knew they wouldn’t find her… He was so desperately looking for her some times ago… She gazed at Solnhofen: Did that man told him something about this that made Raphael change his mind? Or did…
The confused maid did not dare look at Soul Edge but thought that maybe the sword somehow gave information that Amy wasn’t here…
That cursed sword must have known since it was servants of Soul Edge who abducted Amy, even Soul Edge itself… But was Raphael manipulated by the sword now? Or was he in control since he already had that plan of changing the world before and somehow it made sense that he may find Amy like this? Did the sword know something that Raphael didn’t?
What if the young mistress was dead, sacrificed to the sword and Raphael was now holding it to use it to find her without knowing her blood stained the blade just days before? Giving it power to change the world for Raphael while that power would come from his own daughter’s soul… So ironic… Jacqueline distrusted Soul Edge but she would not disobey her master.
"… Okay… It makes sense… master… Dumas."

Dumas replied as Jacqueline finishes gearing him up.
"Good. Now, that's settled."
Dumas then stands up and and grabs a roll of bandage cloth from one of the shelves. He then plants Soul Edge into the ground, and starts to wrap the bandage around the cursed sword.
"Just carrying this out in the open is going to attract too much attention. It would be best to hide it's true nature for now."
As the bandage comes closer to its eye, it quickly closes it as the bandage covers up its eyelid. Eventually, Dumas covers the entire blade and lifts it over his shoulder and it somehow attaches itself to his back.
Dumas grabs his helmet and starts walking out of the room.
"Let's get going then. We have no time to waste."

Jacqueline was glad that Raphael wrapped Soul Edge’s eye since she really felt uncomfortable with it. Then as their master ordered, both Jacqueline and Solnhofen followed him without a word.
