Astaroth's head turned sideways. He was more confused than he had ever been. " A friend? You mean... you want to be my companion? Your not afraid of me... after all i have done.....including....her." Astaroth points to the woman who is unconsious. His head looks down as if ashamed for what he had done.

Talim looked at him with shock. "Wait... you did this to her?" But when she saw the shame in his eyes, she shook her head and said, "Please, don't hurt anyone like this again. But, I forgive you."
She gave him a smile and said, "Let's work together. I will help show you that life is beautiful and give you a reason to fight and protect this beautiful world." When she saw the hesitation in his eyes, she said softly, "Golem. I said that I don't judge others by their physical appearance. I look at their actions and their hearts. I-Augh..." Talim gasped and dropped to her knees before coughing up blood.
Algol had inflicted more damage on her than she thought. She looked up at the giant with dim eyes. "We... ugh, need to get out of here. And she..." Talim pointed to the unconscious woman. "Needs a doctor."

Astaroth trodded over to the unconious woman and slung her over his left shoulder. He then took one of his giant hands and gently grabbed the young girl and brought her to his face. " If you are trying to decieve me be warned, I am no fool, and I will make you feel unimaginable pain." He then gently placed her so she was sitting on his right shoulder. His axe was lying on the ground astaroth picked it up and stared at his reflection. His master's words echoed in his head. " You are nothing. You are just a failed doll modeled off of a mere human." It was kunpaetku just before he escaped astaroth's wrath. Astaroth remembers that day. He rampaged destroying everything and killing anyone he saw. He carried the axe at his side.
"Where are we going young one?"

Talim looked into his eyes firmly when he warned her to not decieve him. She could tell he was slightly surprised when she pouted at him. "I am a priestess. It's against the wind's teachings to decieve someone."
When he gently placed her on his huge shoulder, Talim looked up from her immense height and beamed. Her pain was momentarily forgotten as she marveled at how much she could see. "Wow... you're so lucky golem. With my height, I'm forever pushed around by people and it's always so hard to see things." But then she perked up when she realized that they were in a serious situation right now. "Ermm... we need a doctor but it would be hard for you to just walk in to an apothecary or something. And the doctor might just run away from you."
Talim bit her soft pink lips and thought about it hard. Closing her eyes, she began calling on the wind for guidance. The air stirred and after awhile, Talim smiled cheerfully. "We need to find a malfested who's talented with medicine. Since he or she is malfested, they won't run away from you.
When Astaroth shot her a questioning look on how to find the person, Talim blushed with embarrassment. "Ermm, I know there's probably not alot of people who are well versed in medicine and are malfested. But the wind will guide us. And while we're travelling, I shall keep giving energy to the woman to keep her from dying until she recieves true medical treatment. So..." She looked as the wind blew south and she said, "Let's leave this place first. I think there's an abandoned road near here that we should take. Oh!"
Talim put a hand to her head and quickly smiled down at her new friend. "Golem, do you have a name?"

[avatar]http://t0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcSZgK8Z1wqumeZzihLmiGt8hZSDSkAfGPYARJLvtPitgvFANx9JImKKT_9L[/avatar] “Ugh,” Gerhilde moaned softly, her eyes partially opening but consciousness was still yet to fully recover in her. She heard voices pleasant to the ear and peaceful—from a man and from a girl. Her body felt light and brand new, without any pains or fatigue. The serenity reminded her of one occasion that gave her the strongest sensation of tranquillity.
It was years back when she was also a young girl, a few years younger than the one she tried to rescue from the golem. It was also a few years later after her attempted escape from her former master and the harsh floggings she received.
She was at the kitchen carrying a pale of water held with two hands on its handle. She struggled and staggered, spilling small amounts of water everywhere resulting in her being scolded by the kitchen staff. After the work in that stressful place was over, she sat under the great oak tree, standing a few yards from the kitchen barracks where she and several more servants and slaves lived, and sobbed.
She was a strong girl, there was no mistake in it, and she showed it whenever in the presence of many. She dared not taint her shell which she projected and wore like a mask. However, under this tree, her comfort place, she knew that there was nobody to see her and jeer at her just because she was crying. And there she sobbed at the cruelty of the people and of fate to her. She envied the free men and women that lived happily if not in riches all of the time.
“Why are you crying?” a childish voice inquired from her side. Gerhilde’s head immediately flung upwards from the safety of her arms and knees where she hid them earlier. She turned to her left and saw a younger girl, about six or seven years of age, staring at her curiously. The girl had large eyes, reddish blonde hair, and a soiled fine dress and boots. “My father said that when someone cries it’s because the sadness was too much that it spilled like a bag of water filled with more than it could hold.”
Gerhilde stared at her with equal curiosity. She hadn’t been next to a child ever since she could remember. Although she knew that her insides and emotions were exposed, she never felt exploited and intimidated at the presence of this young person. Perhaps it was because of the child’s small size which didn’t present any threat to her. Perhaps it was because of the approach of the child which was entirely different from the others that had treated her like a household object.
The younger girl frowned thoughtfully and said, “Are you sick with that kind of sickness that makes others unable to talk?”
“Uh...” Gerhilde’s throat was dry and she took the time to clear it off. She stammered and stumbled at her words. “Uh... n-no... I was— I was just... I mean you popped out from nowhere and... here you are. And you’re asking me?”
“Ahihihihi...!” the child laughed, covering her mouth as she did so. “I didn’t understand anything you said. You’re funny! I like you. Maybe I can see you again sometime so we can talk again. There aren’t much children in this place that I can talk to and the adults sometimes can get dull with their talks that I can’t understand. What’s your name, by the way?”
“Uh...”
“Don’t worry. I won’t get you into trouble. My father always tells me to avoid it. My name is Hildegard. But you can call me Hilde.”
At that moment, Gerhilde found something that she never had ever since she could remember and one that she needed the most: a friend. Daily, Hilde returned to that place but she never did keep her promise to keep her from trouble. Gerhilde was even more scolded and punished for talking to this girl that was beyond her status. Yet for some reason, their friendship remained.
Later on, much to everyone’s annoyance, she was made to pack her belongings and was transferred to a better room nearer to the palace. She also saw Hilde more frequently.
In her sleep, Gerhilde murmured, audible to everyone around her, “Thank you for saving me.”

"My name is Astaroth, and yours is talim correct?" "Thank you for saving me" The unconsious woman had said in her sleep. " Dont thank me yet hah hah." Talim had shot him a dirty look. Astaroth had a very twisted sence of humor."What? Its funny because i just snapped her back and..." Talim continued with her glare. "Alright alright. Its still funny though." Astaroth mumbled. Talim was shaking her head in dissapointment. " Alright talim this is the road um, i think. This is the road right?" Astaroth stared down the path of an abandoned and forgotten road.

Talim smiled when the woman said a soft thank you. After glaring Astaroth for his strange sense of humor, she dangled her feet and tilted her head to look at the road Astaroth was pointing to. For some reason, a dark wind blew past her and she bit her lips worriedly. "Yes. But I think there may be something strange going on... Do you think it's safe, Astaroth?" Astaroth just shook his head, as if telling her that with him beside her, there was nothing to worry about. So Talim just stayed still on his shoulder as he carried her and the woman out of this dark place and onto the dark and abandoned road leading from the castle.

The only response is the utter silence throughout the ruins. Clearly those who were around the ruins are gone my now. Despite all of the dark energies that stain the castle's remains, there could be some other way to track down his target. Surely his Native American education can lead him to a giant somehow.

When he'd arrived, Nightmare saw that there'd been others here and the sounds of a great battle was taking place this very moment. The Azure Knight could also feel the dark energies of his former master. The power of Soul Edge was terrifyng, indeed.
"AAAAMY?! Are you here?!" the red haired youth called out to the female vampire but to no avail.
"Where could she be?"
"She is with the master, no doubt." Night-terror replied.
"Damnit...Hold on, Amy..." Nightmare muttered and began making his way to where his dark masters' energy was strongest, The throne room.

After many days, the trio arrived to the cursed castle. As they stopped near, Lucius could feel all the evil energy around it. Somehow he hoped Pyrrha was there but somehow he feared for her if she was there. Living in such a place... His poor little niece...
He stared at the castle for a while, looking at the black birds flying around while thinking there had been so much going on inside and around those walls... war, slaughter, so many death... He was really glad to be with his sister right now. She would protect him as he would protect her.

The trio finally arrived at the cured land of Ostrheinsburg to search for Pyrrha. Upon arriving, Voldo immediately went up front to take the lead because of his knowledge of the land and the castle. While they were walking, Cassandra noticed Lucius stopped for a while, shaking slightly. She figured that he was scared. After all what normal human being wouldn't be if you are at the lair of the cursed sword, Soul Edge except for Voldo of course (no offence V.)
Worried, she approached her brother to comfort him. "Hey Lu, I know you're scared coz I was too when I first arrived here back then. But we have to dig deep. We need to be strong for our niece. Besides with Voldo and us, no one will stand a chance.[/i] said Cassandra as she gave Lucius a pat on his shoulder.

Lucius knew he was scared but he had not realized he was shaking, maybe he was more scared than he thought. But noticing it, Cassandra reassured him as she told him she was scared as well the first time and when she spoke about Pyrrha, Lucius felt some determination coming to him. He would have to think about Pyrrha all along and not give up on her… He smiled back at Cassandra as she patted him on his shoulder.
"Thanks Cassie, I’m really glad you’re here…"
Lucius had always admired his sister, she was so courageous and determined… and right now, her courage, determination and optimism were really needed… Lucius then continued to follow the weird looking man as he was leading them deeper into the cursed place…

After several weeks of traveling, Raphael and Jacqueline make their way to Ostrheinburg Castle. The mere sight of the stronghold seems to remind Raphael of his past experience of nearly obtaining Soul Edge, only to be beaten to a pulp. As Raphael senses the dark miasma still lingering through the area, he remains hopeful that he finds Soul Edge and hopefully to Amy.
Raphael spoke with a cautious tone. "Well, we're here... Be on your toes, Jacqueline. There's no telling what monstrosities still hide within the castle."

Jacqueline was not very talkative, she was really afraid of the place.
"Yes…. But master… should we have tried to get some allies or something?"
Yet she knew they had difficulties gaining normal humans on their side and to get minions Raphael somehow had to go into some fight or trouble. They already had enough. Beside they had to find Amy fast, all hopes of seeing her alive again were going away a little bit each hour. If, Amy wasn’t already dead.
Jacqueline held her blades even strongly in her hands as she followed her master, ready for anyone attacking them.
Meanwhile Solnhofen came back from Italy. But he came back by another road so he didn’t notice the other vampires coming to Osthreinsburg.

Raphael shakes his head. The answer was just as Jacqueline predicted.
"We cannot spare the time or luxury of finding allies. We can work faster on our own. Plus, the quicker we do this, the faster we can find Amy."
Suddenly, an astral gate tears open the sky and appears above straight over the castle. What appears to be two humanoids suddenly drop out of the hole and falling towards the castle grounds. Soon after, a loud crash can be heard, and it could easily be assumed that it was caused by one of them.
Raphael quickly unsheathes Flambert and turns to Jacqueline.
"How strange... We better investigate this. It seems like a good enough lead as any for now."
He then quickly heads further inside the castle towards the general direction of the crash site.
