"Is he now? What does he plan to do with those that he gathered?"
Elysium glanced up at the Hero King with a look of uncertainty. "I have not of another motive other than to gain more power... what he then decides to do with that power after... I am unsure."
The Spirit Sword let out an icy sigh. "Whatever he is doing, I intend to put an end to it. And I'm not allowing anyone..." Soul Calibur shot a chilling glare at the wind priestess, "...get in my way. Anyone who hinders me are considered allied with Soul Edge, and therefore, must be eliminated at all costs."
If the wind priestess refused to listen, Soul Calibur will have to eliminate her along with the rest who stood in her way.[avatar]http://img543.imageshack.us/img543/5402/rosafarrell124x275.jpg[/avatar]

Algol chuckles at her ultimatum. "Fight Soul Edge to your heart's content then. It is the reason why I created you after all."
After some time, he does finally decide to question her story out of curiosity's sake while she is not terribly busy. He's interested in how she answers.
"I will admit, something has been bothering me a bit... that story you told me about how you two got your bodies? It's very different from what I remember." Algol pauses as he taps his chin. "I seem to recall the two knights you mentioned were near this very castle, but then finished the fight in Astral Chaos. They were not in MY tower." In his last statement, his pale eyes start looking straight at her.

Talim breathed hard as she kneeled on the ground. When the portal opened, distorted wind had crossed over and it pained her deeply. Through sheer force of will, she struggled to purify the wind and keep her mind cleared. At the same time, she paid close attentions to what Soul Calibur, and the man known as Algol was talking about. Judging from their words, there lies a different dimension called Astral Chaos and the swords must be deeply linked to it.
But right now, she was more shocked that Soul Edge and Soul Calibur no longer needed a host and that they have returned to this world. Taking in a deep breath, she prayed quietly, "Wind... lend me your strength." In answer, the wind bestowed on her a strange peace and she relaxed against the dark wind. Slowly standing up, Talim said solemnly, "Soul Calibur... Algol."
The two glanced over at her as she interrupted them. Their expressions were cold but Talim stood her ground. To Soul Calibur, she said, "I cannot allow you to stay here. I can see the hate in your eyes when you said you wished to rid the world of malfestation. You only want to destroy them and I will not allow you to do that." Talim looked up at the dark skies and said quietly, "The malfested have suffer so much pain and sadness. But you don't understand that at all. Your hatred blinds you to the truth and that's why, your sense of justice and salvation is twisted."
Next, Talim turned to look at the scandalously dressed man. Powers radiated from him in waves and she could tell that he was no less powerful than Soul Calibur. But... "You do not belong in this world." Talim eyes were slightly tinged with sorrow as she said, "You're dead... But why haven't you moved on?"

Algol's scarf starts to flutter in the wind as if it was responding to Talim's power. He took a bit of offense when she said that he did not belong in this world, but in a way, she was correct. He cast away his mortal body for something far greater. When she questioned why he hasn't rested in peace, his eyes softened for a brief moment, but then quickly furrows his brow.
"I cannot move on since I have not really died. Sealed would be a more accurate term. It's thanks to the soul blades that I now return to this world."

"I will admit, something has been bothering me a bit... that story you told me about how you two got your bodies? It's very different from what I remember. I seem to recall the two knights you mentioned were near this very castle, but then finished the fight in Astral Chaos. They were not in MY tower."
Soul Calibur frowned at Algol's statement. "This castle is in ruin only due to the fact that it is abandoned... I distinctly remember that the two knights had battled there. The only reason as to why I gained enough strength to create another body for me was due to the fact that both of us were in the Astral Chaos." Elysium dismissed the memory with a somewhat crestfallen sigh. "The only reason why I definitely knew I was at your tower because I remember falling... falling down even further depths than this castle stands."
Elysium further used Talim as a distraction from the topic. "I cannot allow you to stay here. I can see the hate in your eyes when you said you wished to rid the world of malfestation. You only want to destroy them and I will not allow you to do that. The malfested have suffer so much pain and sadness. But you don't understand that at all. Your hatred blinds you to the truth and that's why, your sense of justice and salvation is twisted."
"The malfested are merely spawns of what Soul Edge had created, not something to tend to." Elysium spat apathetically. "A supporter of the malfested is a supporter of Soul Edge."
A icy snarl escaped Soul Calibur's lips. "I warn you. Those do defy me shall get destroyed along with the rest of the malfested. I recommend that you don't question my motives."
And with that, Soul Calibur vanished, leaving an frosty glow where the spirit sword once stood...

Algol looked slightly less puzzled. Both of them acknowledge that they fought in Astral Chaos, but then when she explained the falling, it seems like she felt falling rather than actually seeing it. Added to the fact that only he and Mitsurugi were the only ones that were in the Astral Chaos embedded part of the tower, he chalks it up to distorted memories on her end.
As he watched Elysium leave off in huff, he turns to Talim. "If pissing her off was your objective then good job on that end." He could still sense Soul Calibur. While she has not gone too far, he decided against pursuing her.

Talim looked at the spot where Elysium had vanished. With a sigh of sorrow, she said, "Soul Calibur... You will never understand." Returning her attention to Algol, she looked at him with solemn eyes. "Soul Calibur must be stopped. I do not care if she now deems me an enemy but... Algol, what is that you seek in this world?" Talim re-strapped her elbow blades on to her belt and showed him that she meant him no ill will. "Please, I can help you find peace so that you may move on to the spirit world. Don't go after the swords. It will only bring pain and suffering."

Algol chuckles at the priestess. "If I told what I wanted, it would ruin the fun of figuring out what it was." He turns to the ruins of the castle, wondering if there is anything useful from the war seven years ago. He then looks back at Talim sternly. "You should be grateful that I am still around, for I am the only one who has the power to control both swords."

Talim gave him a sad smile. "That belief will lead to your downfall." Placing a hand on her medallion, she said softly, "Soul Calibur... the energy of order and light. Soul Edge... the energy of chaos and darkness. Only in balance, can their destructive powers be cancelled." Talim traced the moon and sun symbol on her necklace. "Only someone who does not wish to wield the swords for their own personal gain, can truly master them. I have made up my mind that if I can't destroy the swords, then I shall wield them and seal them, along with myself... forever."
After all these years, Talim had heard about the battle between the swords that have lasted all this time. They always came back... always. And when they do, lives are always lost. To stop this tragic cycle, she was more then ready to sacrifice herself. Talim smiled up at the wind sadly. Perhaps that was why she was prophecised to be the last wind priestess. Turning back to Algol, she said regretfully, "I'm sorry but I can't allow you to go on. Please forgive me." Talim raised her hands up to the wind. "Wind... share with me your powers." A powerful wind began stirring and Talim asked, "I will ask you one more time Algol. Allow me to help you find peace or else... you will face the wind's fury."

Algol started to snicker of her ignorance of the swords. However, when he heard her empty threats, he started to burst out laughing. "HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!"
After about 5 minutes of straight laughter, he started to catch his breath and regain composure. Foolish girl. You know nothing of the swords compared to me. I have one thing that you completely lack. Experience. In my lifetime, I alone have mastered control over Soul Edge and I am the one who is responsible for Soul Calibur's existence. In a sense, it is a part of me. Do not speak as if you know more than I, for your knowledge is like a tiny grain of sand compared to mine. Tell me the truth. You never even so much as touched the soul swords themselves, have you? I suggest you stand down and apologize if you know what's good for you. You can't stop the soul swords if you're a bloody pulp.

A small smile crossed Talim's face. "We humans... our lives are short. I knew from the very beginning that you are very old, Algol. But nonetheless," Talim eyes flashed as she drew her weapons. "Your years are nothing, compared to the wind's. The wind's wisdom and knowledge is boundless. She sees and hears everything. Nothing can escape her eyes."
Talim's hair whipped back and forth as the wind began to stir. Her voice was low as she said, "The wind has seen the suffering and sadness Soul Calibur and Soul Edge had caused. I have heard the cries... the screams... the agony... that the wind has brought me." Talim shook her head and shouted, "No more! I will end the sword's existence even if it costs me my life. I will not allow anyone else to wield those swords and bring more harm to the people of this world. Even if you can control those swords, I will not allow you to touch them!"
Grimly, she dashed forward. Reading the wind around him, she knew that she was at a disadvantage. He was strong... very strong. But she had spent the last three years dedicated to helping the malfested and to her training. And with the wind beside her, she could not allow herself to fail...

His scarf and braids start to flow as she summons the wind, his eyes dart at her. "And yet the wind is fickle and fleeting... like a coward."
Power surges deep within his body as he now commands it to hover himself off the ground. He frowns upon Talim's foolish attempt to best the Hero King. "If you want to spend your last breath on a pointless fight, then so be it." He tightens his fists as she closes the gap between them. "You, who dares stand against me, I will show you NO MERCY."

[HP=50/50] "Do not underestimate the power of nature!" Talim twisted her body to the left and slashed low.

The Hero King just stood there as to take the hit. He smirks as he raises his left arm. As he swings it downwards above her, his left hand suddenly transforms into the image of the holy blade itself.

[HP=40/50] Talim gasped as the holy blade struck her left shoulder. Grimacing in pain, she stumbled backward and huffed, "That power... belongs to Soul Calibur. I see now, your body is made up of pure energy. Augh..." She looked at the blood dribbling from the wound and flexed her arms to test the damage. It could still move but the movement brought a pained look to her delicate face. "No, I cannot lose this fight."
Talim eyes flashed as she leaped into the air and unleashed a rolling barrage of deadly strikes towards the Hero King as she rolled through the air.
