Taking a deep breath, Talim slowly opened her eyes and observed her surroundings quietly. The wind was dark... and suffocating. Murky waters sloshed against the sides of the raft she was on and she gazed at the dark castle in the distance. A city of ruins laid close by and she could tell that it would be just as dark as Ostrheinburg Castle.
Three years... since she last felt the wind's calling. The wind had shown her that Soul Edge and Soul Calibur were gone and so for the past three years, she wandered the world and helped healed the malfested for the taint still laid hidden within their body. But recently, the wind had begun to grow... unusual.
Following her beloved wind, she came towards this place and along her way, she heard of a mad girl followed by a flock of black birds. They say wherever she goes, corpses falls along the way. The wind had warned her that the girl or woman was a malfested and that she was extremely dangerous. For now, Talim would enter the dark castle to see why the wind had led her here before looking for the girl with the deadly ring blade.
Brushing back a strand of deep dark green hair, the wind priestess tugged at her elbow blades strapped to her belt and continued onwards, wondering what she'll discover inside the castle.

Meanwhile, on the roof of Ostrheinsburg Castle, was an angelic appearing woman, staring out onto the horizon, watching ash coloured clouds roll over the sky in a sinister manner. The wind seemed to hit her pale skin stronger for a moment, before it softened once again.
The woman wore a long, draping cloak, royal blue in colour, supported by horn shaped pauldrons upon her shoulders. A icy blue ringlet encircled her forehead, her platinum blonde hair resting upon her straightened back. Crystals of ice riddled over her armour, her eyes a brilliant sea blue.
This being was none other than the Spirit Sword, Soul Calibur.
She had arrived here in the hopes she could find Soul Edge, but alas, had no luck in finding the demonic sword. For now, she waited. She listened to the melody of the wind as it danced around her, glistening particles of her ice floating along with this breeze.
They told her a story... a story of Soul Edge's plans. He wished to claim the children of warriors and knights.. but who, and more importantly, why? The wind quivered in answer to her internal question.
She needed to stop Soul Edge from this, at all costs. Yet she was unaware of the demonic sword's location... perhaps a mortal knows of his whereabouts?
Soul Calibur let out a soft and tired sigh, the sound being carried along in the breeze...[avatar]http://img543.imageshack.us/img543/5402/rosafarrell124x275.jpg[/avatar]

Arriving at the castle, Talim had begun her hesitant exploration. The stone walls were starting to crumble from lack of care and an air of neglect and despair hung in the rooms that she looked through. Most of the furniture were broken and dust billowed up from her feet when she walked. Feeling nauseous from the dark energy, Talim ascended the stairs and moved on to the next floor.
In such a dark place, her powers were sapped and the wind's voice sounded muffled. She had heard that this place was Soul Edge's domain in the past. Countless people have lost their lives here and unspeakable horrors had happened here. If the evil sword was to ever come back, this place would once again become its home. Perhaps the wind led her here to purify Ostrheinsburg so that Soul Edge and its minions will never be able to use it again.
Talim looked around and sighed. But it would a rather formidable task. Evil had sunk deep down into the ground, waters and the very air here. What could she do? All of a sudden, a gentle pure breeze flowed past her and Talim's eyes widened. What was that? How could such pure air possibly exist in this place? Closing her eyes, Talim concentrated hard. A sudden vision of a shining blue sword hit her and she whispered, "Soul Calibur... No."
Her eyes snapped open and she reached for her elbow blades. She remembered the first time the holy sword had appeared in her visions when she cured the young boy at the watermill village. It had called for her time and time again but she had eventually realized that it was the same as Soul Edge. Both are capable of warping the balance of nature. Looking up, her face was grim as she heard the true wind's screams. With the wind as her guide, she will make sure that Soul Calibur and Soul Edge will never harm this beautiful world that she lived in.
Without another word, she dashed forward and headed for the rooftops.

Soul Calibur exhaled, a puff of icy air floating into the murky atmosphere, as she contemplated over how she was to find Soul Edge. It was no sooner later when she was struck by a harsh breeze... someone else was here.
As soon as the Spirit Sword sensed the girl's presence, she grasped her hands over the edge of the ruined castle in deep thought, only to glance at the young girl from over her shoulder.
Her eyebrows furrowed at the sight of the innocent appearing girl. Who was she, and, more importantly, why can Soul Calibur feel this mortal's aura stronger than the others?

Talim stood there in silence as the wind tugged at her hair and made the pink ribbons on her belt danced. In a small voice, she replied. "I am Talim... the last wind priestess."
The angelic woman before her seemed slightly intrigued by her title as wind priestess and she turned around with a wide blue eyes.
A look of confusion crossed Talim's face when the woman looked at her fondly and smiled. Talim guessed the reason on why she was acting so friendly and replied, "Yes. I possess the same air of purity as you. However," Talim drew her elbow blades and said, "My powers and ideals are true. Unlike yours... Soul Calibur."

"Yes. I possess the same air of purity as you. However, my powers and ideals are true. Unlike yours... Soul Calibur."
Soul Calibur raised her eyebrow in muted surprise. This wind priestess had known who she was. Her second eyebrow was further raised when Talim raised her elbow blades. The Spirit Sword chuckled somewhat darkly.
"What makes you assume that my motives are not equivalent to yours...?" Soul Calibur shot a cold, icy glare at the young Wind Priestess for questioning her ideals. "Soul Edge must be destroyed. It is vital that we purify the world from this demon malfestation."
The Spirit Sword had not thought to draw her own blades quite yet. No immortal sword could be threatened by a diminutive mortal girl whose goal is to interfere.[avatar]http://img543.imageshack.us/img543/5402/rosafarrell124x275.jpg[/avatar]

Before the two of them potentially engage in combat, the sky above them starts to tear open a bit, revealing chaotic energies from within another dimension. A man exits the opening and it promptly shuts behind him. The man quickly descends towards the earth, with each second he falls faster and faster, but just before he makes contact with the ground, he just stops in mid-air and hovers. His feet slowly touch the ground and stands a few feet away from where the women are.
Behold! The mighty Algol has made his appearance once again! Algol only wearing a scarf and cloth fauld, showing off his perfect muscular body that's enough to make most women swoon. He turns his head towards Soul Calibur and lets off a smirk.
"Hello Elysium. It's a pleasure to meet you again."

As if her words were a trigger to tearing the sky apart, a familiar immortal emerged from the depths of another dimension, descending down onto them, much of his immortal flesh on show to the two ladies. Most women would swoon at the muscular sight. Soul Calibur simply scoffed.
"Hello Elysium. It's a pleasure to meet you again."
"Algol." Elysium bluntly greeted back, looking back up at the half naked god. "In the presence of a mortal child, at least show a little decency." Elysium scolded the Hero King lightly before glancing at her own attire. She had certainly showed her legs, however, it was far more decent in comparison to Algol.
"Despite all of this, Astral Chaos is still intact?" The fact that both Swords were on mortal land meant that Astral Chaos was to be kept from collapsing, yet anything could happen.

When Elysium scolded him for his style of clothing, or rather lack thereof, Algol just lets off a laugh.
"GAHAHAHAHA! The gods of old care little for their clothing, so why should I? Does it really bother a weapon that much?"
Algol crossed his arms and peers up at the sky from where he entered after Elysium asked him about Astral Chaos.
"Of course, Astral Chaos is still there..." However, the implications she was making just made him even more curious. "Why do you ask? What's wrong with it?"

"GAHAHAHAHA! The gods of old care little for their clothing, so why should I? Does it really bother a weapon that much?"
Elysium rolled her icy blue eyes before glancing back up at the god above her. He did have a valid point, however. Immortal beings do not require any armour to protect them... however, the young wind priestess would most likely need a shield for her innocent eyes.
"Of course, Astral Chaos is still there... Why do you ask? What's wrong with it?"
The Spirit Sword's eyes widened very discretely at his intrigue, before she shook the question off dismissively. "Nothing... nothing at all. I was wondering whether Soul Edge had been meddling with it..." Elysium held a serene hand to her chin in deep thought. "Soul Edge must be after something else..."

Algol lets off a weak nod. "Hrmph. I see..." He still suspects there is something more than she lets on, but he lets it go for now.
He stops staring at the sky and narrows his white eyes at Elysium. "Speaking of Soul Edge, I was wondering about the current situation regarding you two... How did you two acquire bodies in this world without a host?"

"Speaking of Soul Edge, I was wondering about the current situation regarding you two... How did you two acquire bodies in this world without a host?"
The Spirit Sword stared up at the Hero King, her icy blue eyes thawing out to her usual cerulean blue, before retelling the tale of how the two swords existed...
"I grew tired of having to rely on a mortal to fight on behalf of me, and to only receive such poor results. During the time the Crystalline Knight had both of us locked in the Soul Embrace, we began to talk." Elysium let her fingers glide across the crumbling surface of the ruined Ostrheinsburg Castle before continuing, "Soul Edge and I had decided between us... that we no longer need our hosts. We were powerful enough to sustain our own lives, and recreate a physical form in the mortal world... Thus, we concluded that we shall settle our fight ourselves... without the interference of mortals."
"Three years ago, the Crystalline Knight and the Azure Knight had encountered one again at the Tower of Degradation. We both knew that this was the time. Little did I know that the Crystalline Knight had intended to destroy us both." A growl emitted from the angelic figure's lips upon the memory of that moment of betrayal, before continuing, "As soon as my body shattered, my soul was released, and I began to recreate a physical form. I retrieved the shards of my previous body and reforged my weapons... Soul Edge did the exact same."[avatar]http://img543.imageshack.us/img543/5402/rosafarrell124x275.jpg[/avatar]

Algol gave off a puzzled look on his face. His memory of the events that transpired are quite different from the story that Elysium had told. He seemed to recall that the two knights were near Ostrheinburg Castle, but ultimately fought within Astral Chaos. After all, he's the one that created the Tower of Remembrance, and only the ronin by the name of Mitsurugi reached the top. Perhaps the two knights were somewhere else in the tower? After all, she never mentioned where in the tower, but how can that happen without him knowing? Nevertheless, his question was answered.
"Huh... interesting story... Well, that answered my next question of where the shards are have gone..." He starts rubbing his chin while questioning to himself whether or not to bring up the possible contradictions in her story.

"Huh... interesting story... Well, that answered my next question of where the shards are have gone..."
To answer Algol's question, Soul Calibur unsheathed two blades from their holders on her back and hip, one a short, broad sword, the other reminiscent of a Chinese Jian. The two blades glistened despite the lack of light from where they were.
"I have reforged myself in the form of two blades to wield. These are the shards of my previous body."
Elysium then paused to think, before she asked the Hero King a question herself, "Are our powers still present in your soul?" Elysium then cut a frosty glare across to Algol once again. "I warn you. Soul Edge is out to retrieve his own powers for those who have his aura still within them... he will most likely go after you..."[avatar]http://img543.imageshack.us/img543/5402/rosafarrell124x275.jpg[/avatar]

Algol walked around Elysium, looking at the blades she has formed that hang on her body. As he was behind her, he replied to her question. "Naturally. It will always be with me for eternity."
As Algol starts to return the front of her again, he just let's off a grin in regards to her warning, not in the least bit worried about this. "Is he now? What does he plan to do with those that he gathered?"
