After many days of travel, Solnhofen and Bangoo finally arrived to the sinister castle of Osthreinsburg. The assassin pushed the doors to the entrance of the castle, brutally dragging Bangoo who was still hand tied.
"Come on kid! Move on! My master will want to see you soon and you better be obedient or you’ll taste of my discipline!"
For now Solnhofen thought he should get the boy to the prisons…

'You and your master are going to die once my father finds out I'm here,' Bangoo spat, 'and I'm capable of walking on my own,' he continued, trying to shake himself out of the vampire's iron grip.
Solnhofen growled. He liked the fact the kid was headstrong and courageous but he was now getting very angry at his resistance. All along the way he had not been able to get Bangoo to obey quietly and fear him: the boy was always resisting and telling when he would escape or threatening that his father would come and save him…
Solnhofen brutally slapped Bangoo making the young boy fall down on the ground.
"So you wish for an early grave, hum?"
Looking down at the young man, the vampire continued speaking :
"Look kid, I’m tired of your stubborness. I appreciate your will and combativeness, it shall be very useful once you serve Soul Edge but now you have to finally understand who your master is!"
Taking out his rapier, he then violently slashed at Bangoo’s legs once more.
"No one will save you from here! You will never get away from Soul Edge’s grip! It’s your master forever! And I’m also your superior! So show me respect! Or I’ll force you to!"
Baring his fangs threateningly, Solnhofen looked at Bangoo with an evil gaze. The vampire seemed to have no kind feelings toward his victim and seemed only angry at the stubborn boy. He really didn’t seem human at all.
"Now get up! And walk on your own since you so wish to…"

The slap stung sharply.
"So you wish for an early grave, hum?"
It'd be better than this, Bangoo thought.
"Look kid, I’m tired of your stubborness. I appreciate your will and combativeness, it shall be very useful once you serve Soul Edge but now you have to finally understand who your master is!"
'Hah, who said I was going to come quietly?! You kidnap me and try to make me serve a stupid piece of metal? You expect me to take orders from a creature like you?! No matter what you say, my father will come and -'
"No one will save you from here! You will never get away from Soul Edge’s grip! It’s your master forever! And I’m also your superior! So show me respect! Or I’ll force you to!"
Bangoo was silent, but glared defiantly at the vampire.
"Now get up! And walk on your own since you so wish to…"
He did so. 'At least tell me this,' he spat, 'out of the world's entire population, what made you choose me? There are other warriors out there who would willingly do your bidding. Or have there been some budget cuts?' he mocked.
Bangoo had an attitude when he wanted to, yes, but he was definitely not the strongest, or the fastest. He had will, but that was it.[avatar]http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m8c697ULdi1rab50go1_250.png[/avatar]

'Hah, who said I was going to come quietly?! You kidnap me and try to make me serve a stupid piece of metal? You expect me to take orders from a creature like you?! No matter what you say, my father will come and -'
A creature like me…? Thought the vampire with an offended expression. Solnhofen liked beeing a vampire but beeing scorned like this boy dared do was… really infuriating. Even after beeing warned, the boy continued to annoy the vampire.
'At least tell me this,' he spat, 'out of the world's entire population, what made you choose me? There are other warriors out there who would willingly do your bidding. Or have there been some budget cuts?'
Solnhofen looked at Bangoo with an angry gaze. That boy was still so cheeky! He still deserved some corporal punisment ! But as he moved toward Bangoo to hurt him, he began to explain.
"It’s mostly because of your father that Soul Edge choose you, annoying boy! All the children of those who fought him will serve him… and serve him you will!"
But as Solnhofen grabbed Bangoo to hit him, he was suddenly interrupted by someone yelling from some gallery entrance.
"Hey, you! Leave him alone!"
Solnhofen turned to see who it was and noticed it was the former Nightmare host, that annoying crystal knight, who was not even crystal anymore, just a stupid knight… and he was with that as much annoying creature, Voldo, who seemed to be following behind. Wasn't Voldo working for Soul Edge? But with a creature like this you never know…
The vampire brutally pushed Bangoo down once more before he began walking toward the two while unsheathing his rapier.
"You don’t have anything to do here! I’m merely scolding that annoying boy! It’s none of your business!"
Siegfried seemed appaled by how the vampire was treating that young man and made an expression showing so before he began to walk toward Solnhofen with his zweihander, ready to strike.

"It’s mostly because of your father that Soul Edge choose you, annoying boy! All the children of those who fought him will serve him… and serve him you will!"
Bangoo's eyes widened. 'My father fought Soul Edge...?'
What had happened afterwards?! He knew he had survived, as he had seen him in Russia, but what was he doing fighting -?
"Hey, you! Leave him alone!"
Bangoo's thoughts were interrupted as a blonde, long-haired knight entered the room... followed by this bizarre man, dressed in the most absurd clothing... if one could call it that. Was he even human? And the way he moved made Bangoo shudder.
Wait... was he... hissing...?
"You don’t have anything to do here! I’m merely scolding that annoying boy! It’s none of your business!" he heard the vampire shout back angrily.
And that was when the knight revealed a huge zweihänder - seemingly about to destroy Solnhofen!
---
Voldo listened to the heated conversation with mild interest. He vaguely knew the voice... and recognised the scent...
Solnhofen, wasn't it? Yes, he had sometimes passed him back when he had served Soul Edge in Ostrheinsburg... but now he no longer wished to serve it - he wished to tame it. He swore to Master Vercci he'd carry out his wishes, and he would - until it killed him.
He hung back from the fighting - he knew Siegfried would lose against this dark magic in his current state. Besides... he wished to ask this vampire a few questions regarding the Cursed Sword's whereabouts...[avatar]http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m8c697ULdi1rab50go1_250.png[/avatar]

Siegfried and Solnhofen fought for a while Siegfried tried to slam his giant blade on the vampire who swiftly avoided it before he slashed at Siegfried.
But the vampire’s blade slipped on the knight’s armour and didn’t do much damage. Solnhofen thought that his slim weapon was not very useful against a full armour like Siegfried had. Of course he could decapitate the annoying knight, or impale him in the eye or something… He knew many sadistic ways to kill someone.
But there was another weapon that he could use and that could be very interesting… As Siegfried swung his zweihander once more at the vampire, Solnhofen suddenly disappeared and teleported himself behind Bangoo before he grabbed him.
"Time to prove your worth boy! Now you’ll most likely become more obedient… It’s not that I mind giving corporeal punishment it’s that I prefer when you obey…"
And not giving any more explanations, he swiftly sank his fangs into Bangoo’s neck, draining some blood but also turning Bangoo into a vampire. After that, his young victim fell to the ground unconscious but Solnhofen knew the boy would rise very soon as a minion to help him in the fight.
Solnhofen still didn’t know if Soul Edge would approve of the minion thing but the cursed sword would probably be happy that Bangoo became a malfested minion, he would be far more loyal like this… Beside the evil assassin still didn't know what Voldo was doing here and it slightly worried him. He better even the odds by having an ally as well...
And then the assassin cut Bangoo's hand ties before he went back to meet Siegfried who was now horrified by the vampire attack on Bangoo. The German knight wondered with worries if the young man was still alive... while also wondering what was Voldo doing...

"Time to prove your worth boy! Now you’ll most likely become more obedient… It’s not that I mind giving corporeal punishment it’s that I prefer when you obey…"
The pain was immense, and as soon as Bangoo realised what was happening he knew he had lost. His muscles began to numb as the poison seeped into his veins, and a fire-like agony spread throughout his body. With one howl of rage, he knocked his ally off of him, his mind set on one thing: kill the knight.
Picking up his mace, he charged at the man, aiming for his face.
---
Was it worth saving Siegfried?
Of course not. This little episode provided Voldo with some much-needed entertainment. Though he hoped Solnhofen didn't run away too soon... he was going to get his hands on Master Vercci's desired weapon - even if it was the last thing he ever did.[avatar]http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m8c697ULdi1rab50go1_250.png[/avatar]

Solnhofen was quite happy to see how fast Bangoo transformed. The boy had a lot of stamina to not have fainted… Then as the young man approached Siegfried to hit his face, Solnhofen though with some pride that Bangoo remembered his lesson to hit uncovered parts…
The evil vampire looked at his new minion with much satisfaction. Bangoo would probably be a good student… Very pleased, he leaned on the wall, crossing his arms and looking at the fight.
Siegfried was still in shock as he witnessed Bangoo’s transformation. He only backed away as the young man, howled of rage, got on his feet and charged at him. Holding his giant blade to parry, he wondered what to do : He could not hurt that poor boy, he was a victim!
"No… Don’t… Please! Don’t fight!" Backing away and parrying the high strike Bangoo gave him, he wondered what was Voldo doing. It seemed he didn’t want to help, or didn’t want to hurt the young man either… Siegfried had no idea he barely knew Voldo in fact but he then gazed at Solnhofen who was smiling evilly a little farther and growled while telling him :
"You’re a monster!"
But he quickly turned his attention on Bangoo once more. Should he try to knock him out? Or flee? He decided to try to reason with him while keeping his defence.
"Please… I don’t want to hurt you! This man is forcing you to fight! It's Soul Edge's influence making you act like this! Stop it!"

"Please… I don’t want to hurt you! This man is forcing you to fight! It's Soul Edge's influence making you act like this! Stop it!"
Forcing him? This knight was talking nonsense. He wanted to fight. He served Soul Edge - did the other man serve him, too? He wanted to ask, yet he knew he had a job to do. He raised his weapon for another blow, snarling.
---
Voldo would have rolled his eyes, if he could. He supposed he'd have to stop Solnhofen-junior from maiming the German knight too badly. He lazily unsheathed his weapons, hissing, and began to aid Siegfried in battle, all the while keeping his ears pricked for the lead vampire himself.
You're not going anywhere just yet, Solnhofen.[avatar]http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m8c697ULdi1rab50go1_250.png[/avatar]

[HP=45/50] Siegfried
[HP=50/50] Solnhofen
Solnhofen wasn’t going anywhere indeed. When Voldo joined the fight, he decided to join as well. He would not leave his pupil alone with the two of them. Mostly with Voldo since he didn’t know if Voldo would hurt Bangoo while Siegfried, now being so righteous and repentant, a goody-goody as Tira would say, was trying not to. Voldo was less chivalrous and virtuous than Siegfried… Solnhofen could not afford to lose Bangoo yet, Soul Edge would be displeased…
Meanwhile Siegfried kicked toward Bangoo to make him back away before the young boy could hit him.
"Forgive me!"
But Siegfried’s mind was still tormented by what to do to save that young man. He tought that he didn’t have any purifying powers, he didn’t have Soul Calibur anymore and he couldn’t do as that blond man had done for him, years ago to free him from the Nightmare curse: Hit the eye on the Soul Edge sword… There was no Soul Edge now… But Soul Edge was the source of the evil then, now maybe he should hit the source… the master vampire…
But as he looked where Solnhofen was moments ago, he saw no one. He suddenly got surprised as the evil vampire appeared behind him and violently pushed him down. Not expecting that, Siegfried fell on the ground before Bangoo.
"Now kill him Bangoo!" ordered the vampire while preparing to slash at Voldo.
"I'm taking care of that traitor… We'll kill both the traitors…"

"Forgive me!"
Bangoo growled in pain at the blow, glaring at the knight. Seconds later, he saw Solnhofen attack him from behind, and after a moment he was on his knees in front of him
"Now kill him Bangoo!"
He was only too happy to obey. He lifted his mace, grinning, and aimed a blow at the knight's neck. There was no way he'd survive this.
---
"I'm taking care of that traitor… We'll kill both the traitors…"
Voldo hissed in anger. I'm on your side, imbecille.
Besides, Master Vercci would be most displeased at Voldo's failure now. He was so close...
He backed away, raising his katars to defend himself against Solnhofen's oncoming attack, and made his way towards where Siegfried was currently about to lose. He knew the vampires were watching - he just prayed to a nonexistent god that this insane excuse for a plan would work.
He hissed in frustration. They needed to know whom he was aligned with!
If Voldo had eyes, they would have travelled to the knight.
Scusa, Siegfried.
He had never liked him anyway.
He shoved the younger vampire - Bangoo, was it? - aside and swiftly delivered a blow to the knight's head. He knew it wouldn't kill him, but it would render him unconscious for a while at least.
It would be interesting to see what their reaction to this was.[avatar]http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m8c697ULdi1rab50go1_250.png[/avatar]

Seeing Bangoo’s glare had disheartened Siegfried who felt a mix of pity, sadness and guilt. The poor boy seemed really enslaved by Soul Edge…
And now as he tried to get up after Solnhofen pushed him and that the master vampire ordered the young one to kill him, Siegfried noticed the evil grin Bangoo made and he felt even worse. Ready to face death since he got free from Nightmare and had to pay for his sins, Siegfried was not scared of his own demise; he was mostly sad for the young boy since it seemed he would now take the path of slaughter and death… Like he did…
But as he slightly lowered his head in sadness, he suddenly got hit by something and not realizing who did it, the German knight thought that it was Bangoo who had obeyed his master before he lost consciousness on the ground.
As Solnhofen was about to hit Voldo, the weird man backed away while hissing furiously. The vampire understood nothing and tried to stab him. He thought it must have been some threats or insults he was saying until Voldo went to Bangoo and Siegfried. Solnhofen first thought he would hit Bangoo to save Siegfried, mostly when he shoved the young vampire away.
But then Solnhofen stopped, wondering : What was he doing? Why did he..? He hit the knight? So he was not on his side?
"Oh." Said the vampire looking a little surprised and confused by Voldo’s action. It seemed he was wrong and made a mistake, Voldo was on their side…
Thinking about what just happened, Solnhofen suddenly realized that Voldo had not been very agressive toward him and never tried to hit him, only parried his strikes… So he must really have made a mistake… Well at least Voldo was not on the annoying knight’s side… but as to be on their side… He still wasn’t certain…
But he could not look surprised and confused before the blind man or his pupil so he took an arrogant pose and said :
"I thought you left Soul Edge. So many did. All worthless maggots… I have to say, you are sometimes very hard to understand, Voldo… Whatever. We won."
Then adressing both Voldo and Bangoo, he said :
"Well it seems that since we are all on the same side, I should make the presentations. Bangoo, this is Voldo, he worked for Soul Edge since a while, Voldo, Bangoo my new protegee."
Then adressing Voldo once more he said :
"You should have let my new minion take care of the traitor, he is still…"
Solnhofen wanted to say innocent but maybe it wasn’t the term to use exactly.
"… new to this. But whatever, indeed there was a misunderstanding here and you cleared it… But now Soul Edge will be happy to have that annoying knight into his grasp and will be able to make him pay for betraying him…"
Solnhofen gazed at Siegfried with contempt; such a despicable beeing…

"I thought you left Soul Edge. So many did. All worthless maggots… I have to say, you are sometimes very hard to understand, Voldo… Whatever. We won."
Voldo hissed. Of course they had 'won'... for now. Little did these two know that as soon as he found Soul Edge he'd desert them.
Oh, how happy Master Vercci would be...
---
"Well it seems that since we are all on the same side, I should make the presentations. Bangoo, this is Voldo, he worked for Soul Edge since a while, Voldo, Bangoo my new protegee."
Bangoo dipped his head in acknowledgement, before realising the man could not see. He cleared his throat.
'Uh, greetings...'
---
Voldo hissed in reply.
"You should have let my new minion take care of the traitor, he is still… new to this. But whatever, indeed there was a misunderstanding here and you cleared it… But now Soul Edge will be happy to have that annoying knight into his grasp and will be able to make him pay for betraying him…"
Ah, so he was on his way to Soul Edge after all... in that case, there was nothing to do but to join them. As for what would happen afterwards... that had yet to be decided.
Voldo moved towards where Siegfried was lying. He'd probably be forced to keep an eye on him for now. He'd play his part while he had to, form an alliance with these vampires... and no doubt receive a reprimand from the knight when he came to.
He gestured to the motionless body.
What is to be done with him?[avatar]http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_mdv009HR8T1ret8jqo1_250.png[/avatar]

As Voldo gestured to the unconscious Siegfried, Solnhofen understood what the blind and mute man asked :
"We’ll take him to the cells… after stripping him of his armour and weapon…"
The cells where he was supposed to bring Bangoo while waiting for his master to come but now the boy was far more docile… Yet Siegfried wouldn’t be and if someone had to change the knight's mind it probably was Soul Edge…
Mabe the cursed sword will take him back as host or maybe he’ll just want to see him suffer… Maybe it wasn’t even possible to take him back as a host since Soul Calibur stained him with her own essence… Whatever, it was Soul Edge’s decision.
But even if Siegfried may still be tainted with the spirit sword’s essence, it was a good thing that this stupid knight had decided to get rid of Soul Calibur as well when he destroyed the swords, he was far less dangerous this way… Stupid knight… Solnhofen really didn’t understand Siegfried’s decision to get rid of both swords… He could have had so much power if he had kept any of them… But too bad for him, he choose to be a loser… Now, they should take this loser to the cells… and then summon Soul Edge.
Solnhofen thought that Soul Edge will be so pleased… But the evil assasin mostly thought about the honours he could get for this… He was the one in charge here… Bangoo was his minion, Voldo was not speaking, so he probably would get most of the honours for that catch… Yet he knew Voldo could defend himself in his weird ways but still… Solnhofen really hoped to get some promotion for this. He brought back one of the chidren and he got Siegfried… He deserved a reward…
But for now he oredered his minion:
"Bangoo, take off his armour."
