"Bangoo, take off his armour."
Bangoo nodded, getting to work immediately. It proved to be a challenge at first, but soon the gleaming armour was in a half-neat pile beside the knight, who was left only in his chainmail.
He felt slightly unnerved by the blind man behind him, who seemed to be watching his every move despite being sightless.[avatar]http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m8c697ULdi1rab50go1_250.png[/avatar]

While Bangoo was taking Siegfried’s armour off, Solnhofen was observing Siegfried’s zweihander. He was still wondering if it could be Soul Calibur, somehow disguised…
That was a stupid fear since he had learned Siegfried had got rid of Soul Calibur by betraying it so it would not be the sword… But just to make sure… He observed it for a time before he dared take it. He didn’t feel any pure aura… It really was a normal sword… He would probably have been burned or destroyed if it was Soul Calibur… So the knight really left everything behind… What a fool…
Once he noticed Bangoo had finished, he told him and Voldo :
"Take the prisonner to the cells. We will then summon the master and wait for him to come. He will certainly come soon… He knows all that is happenning here…"
He left the sword there beside the armour and began walking toward the dongeon.

Bangoo nodded wordlessly, and effortlessly hoisted the knight over his shoulder thanks to his new-found strength. He followed Solnhofen to the dungeons, not wanting to look behind him to check if the blind man was following them... though the occasional quiet hiss told him that he was.
A few minutes later they had reached the cells. Bangoo looked around... dark, cold, foreboding... perfect.[avatar]http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m8c697ULdi1rab50go1_250.png[/avatar]

As they were now in front of the cells, Siegfried regained consciousness. When he noticed that the young man was carrying him like a sack of potatoes, he remembered what happened and that the young victim had been turned into a vampire.
Siegfried was sad for the young boy and he was really troubled by that plan of Soul Edge to take children… It seemed the little niece of those Greek persons he met had maybe escaped but still they didn’t know exactly where and she may still be in danger… as were many others. All those adbucted children were appaling… Siegfried thought he had to do something to protect them. He had to escape.
The German knight thought with some shame about Soul Calibur, she offered him to join her again… and he refused, and got captured… But he wasn’t already captured; he was only in front of the cells right now, not in yet. He’ll get away and save those children!
Yet he wondered if Soul Edge had a list of those who could be potential victims… Probably not. But it woud have been easier to steal that list and go save them all…
As he thought about this and also wondered what happened to Voldo that he still didn't notice, seeing only Bangoo's back, he thought he could not do much for now but try to escape, so he tried to get out of Bangoo's grip by suddenly grabbing the young man nas he was staring at the cells and trying to make him fall down while pushing his body aside, hoping to be released. Bangoo may be strong but he wasn't that big so he may lose his balance and fall with that.
Solnhofen didn't notice already that the prisonner woke up and was trying to get free since he was looking at the cell as well and thinking about what Soul Edge would say about this capture and Bangoo.

Bangoo realised too late that his captive had woken up. Snarling, he tried to retain his balance, but to no avail, and crashed ungracefully to the ground. He grabbed his mace, cursing, ready to try and fight the knight who was evidently trying to escape.
---
Voldo simply stood back and listened to the scene unfold. Siegfried had served his purpose - he now couldn't care less what happened to him.[avatar]http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m8c697ULdi1rab50go1_250.png[/avatar]

As Siegfried and Bangoo crashed on the ground, the German knight quickly got up and began to run away. He could not fight those two vampires while beeing disarmed. He didn’t know where his zweihander was and he lost most of his armour. So he began to run as fast as he could. He would come back when stronger and more equipped. But he was still thinking about Bangoo and he yelled to him as he got away, slightly turning toward him.
"I’ll be back! I’ll save you!"
He knew the vampire boy would not agree to this or maybe not even understand this but whatever, Siegfried did not want to forget that victim and he had to come back for him later.
Yet when he slightly turned toward Bangoo, he noticed Voldo standing behind, doing nothing. Did he really saw that? Siegfried turned once more and really noticed the blind man, standing there. Was he with them?
Siegfried didn’t understand but he also noticed Solnhofen disappearing so he knew the vampire would probably appear before him as he was running away. And indeed the older vampire suddenly appeared in front of him but this time, expecting it, Siegfried quickly tackled him and as the vampire fell down, the knight continued running away.

"I’ll be back! I’ll save you!"
Bangoo growled in rage. He had lost this round.
And he was certain he did not need saving.
Turning to Solnhofen, he spat on the ground in anger. 'He got away.'
---
Voldo listened with interest. All he needed to do now was properly convince Solnhofen that he was on their side - he would get to Soul Edge no matter what it took.[avatar]http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m8c697ULdi1rab50go1_250.png[/avatar]

Solnhofen tried to run after Sigfried, he didn’t try to teleport since it took some kind of energy from him and he didn’t have any left, mostly as the day was now rising. So he made some steps but the German blond ran really fast, more than what the assassin would expect from someone still wearing a chainmail. He yelled to Siegfried while rising his fist :
"Coward!" The assassin’s mood then changed and he began to chuckle.
"Yeah, run away in fear… flee for your life…"
He then stopped running and turned around while half talking to Bangoo, half to himself.
"A man running away as fast as that wouldn’t pose a very serious threat to us… Soul Edge would never fear such a coward and even less wish to have that coward back… Tss! He never deserved to be the Azure knight in the first place… Without any of the soul swords to back him up, that man is nothing…" Smirking, Solnhofen then told Bangoo in an almost fatherly tone:
"He’ll be back for you… But I know I can trust you to take care of him then… For now, the day is rising, I think you’re already aware that we both cannot really go in the sun… and that the day may be quite… grueling…"
He then turned toward Voldo.
"And you, how do you manage to even see? You could go outside and run after him but outside or inside, how do you see? You’re so strange to me… Don’t take it as an insult, it’s mostly a compliment. You have a great ability…"
Yet Solnhofen wondered how Soul Edge would take the fact that Siegfried ran away. But as he told himself, the German knight was not even in the plan at first. He was a coward and useless now… He hoped Soul Edge would think the same… But he still had Bangoo… The one he was sent to search for, so he succeeded in his mission… He didn’t fail… And Solnhofen was already eager to go get some more children for his master. Maybe with the help of his new minion… Bangoo had some potential…
Siegfried ran out of the castle. He didn’t find his sword or armour while running in the hallway. Did Solnhofen had it? Siegfried didn’t really noticed. Or someone took it? Another Soul Edge servant or something? He was quite annoyed by this.
Should he go back to Greece to ask Sophitia’s husband to make him a new zweihander? He heard that her husband was really good making weapons… But Siegfried thought he would meet Elysium again… Should he ask Soul Calibur to… hum… take him back? Offering his help and look like a total idiot and traitor? Or just pass there, ignore her, get a sword and go in Asia? He could get a sword elsewhere as well…
"What should I do?" Wondered Siegfried out loud as he was walking away from Ostrheinsburg.
"Those kids… they are threatened while I do nothing… I have to find a solution fast! Sophitia already knows children are abducted since her own daughter have been, but does she knows many more are as well? Yet she doesn’t need to be troubled with this and Elysium also already knows it… And the little girl, is she alright with her aunt and uncle now? I hope so… I can’t help every one of them…"
Siegfried turned toward the evil castle who looked dreadful even with the sun now rising and frowned. He was the one who killed the previous owner of this castle… and he did so much more between those walls as the Azure knight… He is the one who currupted that place. The sight of this castle would always remain an terrible vision for Siegfried. He silently swore that he would always fight that evil that had invaded those walls for too long now.
"The only way to save those children is to destroy Soul Edge once and for all! And Soul Calibur is the way! Beside who said the sword was that bad? I did… destroy it as well but it’s mostly fanatical not cruel, it never took away children… But it is I who betrayed it… I don’t deserve to come back and be forgiven… I’ll fight alone. I need no one but a sword…"
And the knight continued to walk away from the castle.
(Siegfried is leaving the thread)

Voldo rasped absent-mindedly in reply. It was no great ability. It was skill. When one sense had failed him, the others had grown stronger - particularly his hearing. And that was the way it had been for years.

Bangoo looked at Solnhofen. 'And now?' he asked, 'what are you going to do, summon Soul Edge? I thought that we would go to him instead... but then we can't travel by day...'[avatar]http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_mdv009HR8T1ret8jqo1_250.png[/avatar]

'And now? what are you going to do, summon Soul Edge? I thought that we would go to him instead... but then we can't travel by day...'
Seemingly having some worries on his mind, Solnhofen replied to his minion :
"We can travel… only slower. Since we must avoid the sun and we are weaker…"
Solnhofen was scared to summon Soul Edge, not only it was demanding but the cursed sword may not like it since he just let go Siegfried… Yet like he already told himself, he had not been ordered to take the late host and he had Bangoo…
Solnhofen quickly gazed at Bangoo and Voldo; they seemed to wait for him to summon Soul Edge…
In fact, the assassin didn’t know where the cursed sword was right now. But he wouldn’t tell his minion or Voldo… He had to look like he knew everything and like he was important for Soul Edge… He had hoped Soul Edge would feel their presence and come to them since the cursed sword was more aware of what was happening between those walls than anywhere else…
The dark haired braided man couldn’t really 'summon' Soul Edge like he said but he knew a special ritual. Yet this ritual was exhausting… And by doing this ritual, it was not to make the cursed sword appear, he couldn’t command it of course, but to get some mental link with it… Soul Edge may then tell him where to find it instead, could tell him anything it wished and they would go to their master or do whatever bidding he asked of them… or Soul Edge may come to see them, if it wished…
So the vampire lifted his sleeve, and with his blade, he cut himself on the arm. Closing his eyes, he muttered :
"Master… I give you my blood as a reminder that I gave you my soul… May you accept this offering that ties us together and I ask you to grant me your guidance…"
Solnhofen muttered some kind of prayer for a while and after he finished, the assassin feel on his knees, seemingly too weak to stand up as much of his blood had dripped on the floor. The cursed sword taking some of his life as the ritual requested was making him feel weak and now during the day that was rising, he felt even weaker.
"I didn’t drink enough lately, I will need to do so…" muttered the long haired assassin who was now bandaging his arm while thinking he would have to take some human blood soon.
Giving his blood was depriving the vampire of some of his own life fluid and since he was a vampire he could not regenerate his own blood, he had to take it from someone else or he would feel weak until then. But now he had the answer from Soul Edge…

"Master… I give you my blood as a reminder that I gave you my soul… May you accept this offering that ties us together and I ask you to grant me your guidance…"
Soul Edge smirked. It was about time.
In a matter of seconds he had exited the void he was currently in and materialized in front of Solnhofen and his new companions.
I know your intention was not to summon me, Solnhofen, he drawled lazily, but it has been a while. I thought I might... deliver your instructions in person...
He paused, turning to look at the other people with them. A young man... and a deadly-looking freak.
I see you have found allies. I will give you a link to one more: a wolf-boy... they call him ZWEI - I know not his real name. Last seen in Venice, I believe.
He glared at the vampire. Find him.[avatar]http://imageshack.us/a/img812/6305/souledgescrp150x124.jpg[/avatar]

While kneeling down in exhaustion after giving much of his blood, Solnhofen made a slightly surprised gasp as the cursed sword suddenly materialized in front of him. He had not really expected it to appear in person.
The evil assassin would not have wished to act like this before his minion or Voldo but he couldn’t help but fear his master and it showed in his surprise. The cursed sword probably noticed as well and it did annoy the vampire to look like this in front of Soul Edge yet to fear his master was also a show of respect… Soul Edge then spoke :
I know your intention was not to summon me, Solnhofen, he drawled lazily, but it has been a while. I thought I might... deliver your instructions in person...
The assassin bowed his head in reverence. It was an honour to see the all powerful sword in person and be adresssed by it.
I see you have found allies. I will give you a link to one more: a wolf-boy... they call him ZWEI - I know not his real name. Last seen in Venice, I believe.
A wolf boy? thought the assassin. A werewolf? But he wouldn’t dare ask more details… Beside he had what he needed to know : the boy’s name, Zwei, well, how he was called, and his probable location, Venice. That was all he needed to know to track down his prey… His hunter instinct came back and he felt excited to have a new prey to go after. But he slightly felt fear once more as Soul Edge suddenly glared at him and let go those few words : Find him.
Still kneeling, the assassin bowed once more as he answered :
"Yes master. You can count on me. The boy named Zwei shall be brought back to you as I have brought back my previous one…"

"Yes master. You can count on me. The boy named Zwei shall be brought back to you as I have brought back my previous one…"
The Cursed Sword nodded in approval, and saw no reason to waste more of his time here.
Do not fail me, Solnhofen, he warned, and a moment later he vanished and quickly as he had arrived.
---
Soul Edge? Could it be?
Voldo shivered with excitement at the Cursed Sword himself appearing no more than a few metres away from him, yet he knew he had to keep silent for now, as he gave his orders.
Voldo's chance slipped away, however, when Soul Edge left without warning. Voldo cursed angrily, his words coming out as annoyed hisses, before quietening down as he realised he would have another opportunity as soon as this ZWEI was captured.[avatar]http://imageshack.us/a/img812/6305/souledgescrp150x124.jpg[/avatar]

After Soul Edge disappeared Solnhofen got up and said:
"Then Venice it is."
The vampire turned to Voldo and looked at him. He wondered if Voldo was coming as well. Soul Edge mentionned 'allies' probably including the weird man...
And indeed if Voldo came, it probably would be useful... Beside the man was Italian, he may know the place... Yet he probably won't be the one to speak if they needed to ask questions even if he knew Italian more than both Solnhofen and Bangoo since he now only hissed strange sounds but he could still be useful. The assassin then adressed both his allies:
"We will begin our journey after some rest and some blood. I'll show you your bedroom, Bangoo. I suppose you have a place, Voldo... We'll met at the gates at the end of the afternoon."
It was day so unless absolutely necessary, the malfested vampire prefered not to travel right now. He wanted to rest until the sun would get weaker then travel to Italy. But first, he had to drink... Luckily the cells were often occupied... It may not be as fun as hunting preys but it was easy blood when he was tired... He gestured his minion to follow him as he went deeper in the dongeon.
"Come with me, we'll feast on some humans..."

Voldo gave a curt nod and slipped away with a small hiss of acknowledgement.

Bangoo nodded wordlessly, following Solnhofen down the large, forbidding halls of the dungeons. Excitement began to build up inside of him - he could not wait for tomorrow! Catching this ZWEI would surely be fun...[avatar]http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_mdv009HR8T1ret8jqo1_250.png[/avatar]
