[avatar]http://www.unikgamer.com/characters/face/kilik-761.jpg[/avatar] Kilik noticed Setsuka subtly change her expression as he asked her. He didn't know how she took it but he felt a pinch of guilt rising in him. Xianghua had always teased him on how he was rock dense at times and he had tried his best to be the opposite. Hopefully, he was not as such this time.
"No, no, no! I didn't mean what you thought I implied with what I said. Or what you think I meant. Or—"
Suddenly, the words came in a jumble of chaos in his thoughts and he found himself stuttering all the more. He sighed as he collected himself.
"I'm sorry. It's just that I thought..." he hesitated once more. "You're— You're welcome to come if you want. I won't mind at all."
Kilik's eyes search about for something additional to say that would probably make him clear but...
"—I guess," he said quietly as he finished his statement. "I won't mind at all even if you're sunny or you talk a lot."
He didn't know why he said the latter. Suddenly, it occurred to him that he was thinking about Xianghua once again. He tried to push it away with great effort.
'I must focus,' he ordered himself.
Looking up at the caucasian woman, he apologized, "I'm sorry. I'm not making any sense at all."

"No, no, no! I didn't mean what you thought I implied with what I said. Or what you think I meant. Or—"
Setsuka looked at him with a complete clueless gaze. Not only she had to translate in her mind the Chinese words but those words also seemed all mixed up. Kilik was also speaking quite fast… He then tried to calm himself and said :
"I'm sorry. It's just that I thought… You're— You're welcome to come if you want. I won't mind at all."
Still gazing at Kilik trying to explain himself, Setsuka thought : Okay ‘won’t mind’ doesn’t mean ‘you’re welcome’ but since he seemed confused himself, I may take that as a ‘yes you can come’. Then Kilik added more quietly: "—I guess, I won't mind at all even if you're sunny or you talk a lot."
Setsuka’ s eyes widened in surprise. What? I talk a lot? I talked because we were in a discussion, I don’t always talk… She really didn’t understand that man… He did lack in manners… He then looked up at her and said :
"I'm sorry. I'm not making any sense at all."
No, you don’t, thought the Japanese blond still looking at him with a confused gaze. She didn’t have time to feel rejected now; she was just confused. He may be good with knowledge of Soul Edge and Soul Calibur but for social skills, he was zero.

[avatar]http://www.unikgamer.com/characters/face/kilik-761.jpg[/avatar] Kilik saw the confused look on her face causing her to wave his hands as if to erase all that he said.
"Forgive me. Please forget everything that I've said. It would be nice if you would come. It would be less lonely to travel with someone you know."

"Forgive me. Please forget everything that I've said. It would be nice if you would come. It would be less lonely to travel with someone you know."
Setsuka began to smile. She thought: It will be quite easy to forget everything since it was so confusing... Now she thought it was funny... She thought that Kilik must have a lot on his mind that was why he answered that way.
"Arigato, Kilik-san, it will be my pleasure to help you."
She then turned to Edgemaster to see what he had to say about the idea of going to Walachia and all. She also wondered if he was coming or not.

Seong Mi-na, the heart and soul girl, the strongest, yet under appreciated, female warrior in Jirisan, if that, the whole of Korea. Mina had travelled for days on end from her beloved home town and her father's dojo, in which she had taken over after her father had fallen ill.
To become a teacher however, requires both strength and patience, and unfortunately, Mina is lacking in one sector.
Patience.
She had decided to visit her old master, none other than Edge Master, the master of all edges, in order to seek guidance in not only to hone her own strength, but to be able to train her mind as well.
She was becoming a woman now... not a girl. Mina needed to be mature.
And so, Mina arrived at the foot of the Himalayas, her eyes cast up at the Proving Grounds, Scarlet Thunder glistening in the sunlight, her hair cascading down behind her, her headband tied around her forehead.
She was ready. Seong Mina paced up the staircase, glancing around the grounds in search of the Edge Master.
"Seonsang-nim?*" Mina called out, her eyebrows furrowed in confusion as to where Edge Master may be.
*Seonsang-nim = teacher/sensei in Korean.

Edge Master stroked his beard as he overheard the two of them conversing over the idea of traveling to Walachia. Suddenly, his thoughts broke and ears perked up when he overheard a woman's voice echoing through the mountains.
"I'm sorry, excuse me for a moment."
The hermit got up on his feet and walked over to where he heard the voice. He looked over the cliffs to see Mi-na climbing the Himalaya's paths and waves to her.
"Hello Mi-na. What a pleasant surprise to see you."

Mina's attention was caught by the Edge Master's voice, her focus attended to the old man approaching her, causing her to bow out of respect for his presence.
"Seonsang-nim, it's nice to see you again." Mina greeted after she arose once more, Scarlet Thunder held horizontally behind her back.
"I'm sorry if I'd disturbed you... I have come to ask you something." Seong Mina smiled somewhat awkwardly, before her glance averted behind Edge Master. "Did someone come to visit you before...?"[avatar]http://img254.imageshack.us/img254/7579/soulcaliburivseungmina0.jpg[/avatar]

Edge Master tilts his head upwards in thought.
"Hmm... Are you looking for anyone in particular?"
He then looks back at her in a more cheery tone.
"But regardless, come on in and have some tea. I have guests and I'm sure you'd like to meet them. It's not all that fun to just stay out here is it?"

"Ah, anniyo*, I was looking for you actually, seonsang-nim." Mina nodded, before accepting Edge Master's offer to be invited inside graciously.
"Oh, 'course!" Mina cheerfully accepted, before striding inside first, her hips slightly swaying in a cute manner, her hands still gripping her zanbatou pressed against the small of her back, her eyes peeping around the room, to find two people.
A blonde woman, Caucasian in skin and eye colour, yet oriental in dress sense and overall aura. Perhaps she was raised in Asia...?
However, Mina's focus fell on the other person... a young man, who seemed around her age, with sharp chestnut hair, a scar running down his cheek, his eyes a piercing brown.
Mina felt as if she should know this man somewhat. Perhaps another trainee under the Edge Master?
Disregarding not knowing who they both were, Mina politely greeted them both with a bow.
"Annyeong haseyo**. Sorry for barging in on ya both." Mina grinned, rubbing the back of her neck.
*Anniyo- Polite form of 'no'. **Annyeong haseyo- Polite form of 'hello'. [avatar]http://img254.imageshack.us/img254/7579/soulcaliburivseungmina0.jpg[/avatar]

"Annyeong haseyo**. Sorry for barging in on ya both."
That was Korean. Japan and Korea were presently at war. But Setsuka didn't care about this and probably that girl either since she saw the kind of clothes Setsuka was wearing and probably noticed she was Japanese... well, her clothes were. She was, but not physically. Setsuka still wondered what nationality were her parents... Some guardian in the orphanage said she was probably Portuguese since the Portuguese dogs invaded the land as he said but Setsuka had no proof of it. Yet she learned Portuguese in case she had to speak with some parents one day... But her real family was her master, so she was Japanese.
"Kon'nichi wa" said Setsuka with a smile as she bowed politely to the new arrivant. She did wonder who she was though... But Edgemaster will probably present her.

Edge Master then sits back down and noticed Kilik was gone and left Setsuka alone when he himself left the two of them to see Mi-na. Perhaps he left to train further? He shrugged and turned to Setsuka.
"Setsuka, this is Seong Mi-na. She was briefly one of my pupils."
He then turned to Mi-na as he then put out a cup and poured tea for her.
"Mi-na, this is Setsuka, my guest I was mentioning earlier."

Kilik got up and went away, saying something like he had to be prepared and train some more. So he excused himself to Setsuka and the others by mumbling something and left. Setsuka thought that he really was detemined to be good enough for the task he had to do and didn't stop him from going training. She smiled to Seong Mi-na once more and said with a joking tone:
"Glad to meet you, Seong Mi-na, I bet you came here for Edgemaster's tea."

"Hey Setsuka-ssi!" Mina waved brightly, beaming a broad smile before she had perched herself next to Setsuka, knelt in front of the table in which the tea had sat, offering her own hand for the geisha to shake.
"Glad to meet you, Seong Mi-na, I bet you came here for Edgemaster's tea."
Seong Mina chuckled upon hearing Setsuka's assumption. "I actually came here to visit seonsang-nim, but the tea is a plus too!" She giggled somewhat, pouring herself a cup of tea carefully before gesturing Edge Master to sit down along with them.
"So... what brings you all the way here Setsuka-ssi? I assume you're from... Japan?" Mina hesitated slightly upon realising that Korea and Japan were at war.
She could have been in that army, defending the Korean coastline. Yet because of simple fact she was a woman, she had been restricted to her father's dojo, training the possible future soldiers instead.
It also made her think of two other people in her life who had were part of the Korean defense line.
Yun Seong and Hwang Seong Gyeong.
Seong Mina had missed them both, no doubt. She always wondered how they were, whether they were hurt.
Whether they were still alive.
Casting her forlorn thoughts aside, Mina grinned once again, masking her solemn expression. [avatar]http://img254.imageshack.us/img254/7579/soulcaliburivseungmina0.jpg[/avatar]

"So... what brings you all the way here Setsuka-ssi? I assume you're from... Japan?"
Setsuka noticed the sligh hesitation Seong-Mina had before saying her native country. It seemed she was uncomfortable with the fact they were at war. Setsuka was as well. She warmly smiled again to Seong-Mina to try to show her there was no kind of bad feelings or something between them.
"Indeed. I am from Japan, Seong-Mina-san."
She wondered if she should ask about Seong-Mina's country but she didn't know if it would be a bad move... Yet maybe not speaking about it would be badly seen as well...
"And you are from Korea? Which region?"
She smiled again. This stupid war was making them feel uncomfortable and yet Setsuka didn't even encourage this war. It seemed it was her country invading Korea and she really disapproved of it. She was not bloodthirsty for battle like this Mitsurugi... He would fight for any reasons... Him... Again... Why did she thought about him now? No, he was not that bad... She imagined he must probably now be on the coasts of Korea fighting soldiers but he would not harm little children or helpless people... Yet he and the others Japanese were the invaders... He may not harm little children but he may make orphans... she suddenly thought about her master again. She was not a child when he died but she lost the one who raised her... Then doing like Seong-Mina, she hid her sad expression and waited for the Korean girl's answer.

So Mina had assumed right; Setsuka was from Japan despite her fair appearance. Despite the fact that the Japanese were in fact invading her home country, she trusted that Setsuka wasn't involved with it, like herself.
"You're right, I'm from South Korea. Jirisan. It's not too far off the coastline." Mina explained the geographical location of her hometown, before she had noticed Setsuka's slight crestfallen expression.
She obviously had something on her mind... In an attempt to distract Setsuka from what she was thinking about, Mina smiled, deciding to question why she would visit the Edge Master.
"So, have you come to train here with seonsang-nim too?"[avatar]http://img254.imageshack.us/img254/7579/soulcaliburivseungmina0.jpg[/avatar]
