Merci beaucoup~ ^_^ It is harder for me to learn than English, but that's only because English is my first language. For you it'd be the other way round, no? Although English in general is harder than French (in my opinion) if neither of them are your first languages.

I would say the contrary. I think french must be harder to learn. But then I always heard about the opinion from french speaking people now I have the opinion of an english speaking person and it's interesting to know your point of view.
And I suppose it depends on the person learning it. A person speaking german must think english is easier since they have similarities while a person speaking italian or spanish must think it's french. And a person knowing another langage not related to those may think one or another.
Whatever the language, it's mostly the difference in the way to do the sentences, verbs and names that we have to adapt to, aside from learning the words themselves of course.
