Suddenly, the knight decided to ask them if he can join them in their quest. Cassandra thought about it. Why would the crystalline knight be interested to help them look for a lost waif? But still, it wouldn't hurt if they can have another person to aid them in their quest. Plus with his experience in battles, it would be safer for them with him around.
But before she could make a decision, she first turned to Lucius. "Hey Lu, what do you think? Would it be okay if we take him along?[/i] asked the young Greek to her sibling.

When Cassandra asked Lucius about taking Siegfried with them, he replied:
"Of course. Any help is appreciated."
He then turned to Siegfried and nodded to him.
"Thank you."
But Lucius then looked at Voldo to see if it was alright with him. He thought it must be so. Even if Siegfried held Soul Calibur, as Cassandra said sometimes ago, Siegfried didn't really get along with the incarnation of the Spirit sword so Voldo must not be at war with him... But as he looked at Voldo, he noticed the blind man was "looking" up. Wondering what it was, Lucius lifted his head as well. But he saw nothing... What was the strange man looking at? Or thinking about?

Ishimaru, hiding quite out of sight in the rafters, observed the conversation and casually eavesdropped, making use of the huge building's remarkable acoustics.
Most of the conversation didn't mean much to him, so he focused in on the people involved...one of the three blondes below was familiar to him, Nightmare's old nemesis...he wasn't sure at this height if he'd bumped into the other two before, but it couldn't have been very long if he had.
His main concern was the bizarre grey fellow, particularly how he was moving. In his position, Ishimaru's eyes narrowed.
He knows someone's up here. He's got sharp ears.
He didn't seem to be searching with his eyes, which led Ishimaru to assume the man was blind. Sightless men were either no trouble at all or a dreadful nuisance to someone in Ishimaru's line of work, and the ninja was inclined to assume the latter.
Still, he was not in a position anyone was going to reach without a good deal of climbing, so he stayed where he was to see what would happen next.

The crawling feeling let loose upon her skin was all she needed to know that someone's unseeing gaze was scanning the rafters. A quick peak was all it took to find the culprit: Voldo. Of course. The blind servant was one of the few who would even think to look upwards, towards the castle's vast overhanging beams and rafters; or a way to travel, if you were nimble like the raven haired girl, the stupid ninja, and alas, Voldo.
Tira quickly leaned back to the safety of the shadows, with a hope, just a small one, that the blind man had not sensed her presence. He was one of the few she wouldn't want to run into given her current injuries.

The rain fell continuously as the night dragged on. And though the downpour had let up some, it showed no signs of stopping in the near future. Nightmare, as still as a statue, hadn't moved or spoken a word in what felt like ages. Not necessarily a good. Ever since his reawakening, silence had been his enemy. Silence brought thoughts and memories from the darkest recesses of his mind. From people he's slain to people he'd simply conversed with.
But one memory was still fresh in the Azure Knights mind. A memory he would never forget. The memory of when he left that poor girl alone after he'd sworn to keep her safe.
Suddenly, the very words he'd spoken to the young girl had been repeated back to him by the silence. "Despite my best efforts...all I can do is destroy..."
A solemn expression spread across Nightmare's face as the silence, which threatened to engulf him, had finally been broken by a singular word.
"Pyrrha..."
Just then, the Azure Knight sensed another presence in the shadows! It wasn't like the others, no. Hatred radiated from the shadows as slow, deliberate footsteps were heard getting closer, and closer. Nightmare, still unmoving, directed his eyes down the darkened corridor as the malevolent presence came to a halt some feet away from him.
"Pyrrha?" the dark clad figure said, malice dripping from his every syllable.
"Is that the name of another child you've taken away from her parents?!"
Nightmare unfolded his arms and pushed himself, heavily, from the wall.
"Pyrrha is...none of your concern..." the red haired youth retorted, turning to face the malicious presence.
"I'll only ask once...Where is my daughter?" the dark figure said as he stepped from the shadows, revealing a handsome visage with eyes as red as the aura that swirled around the Azure Knight. His wet, blond tresses clung to his face as he took another menacing step forward.
"Where is AMY?!"

Voldo heard the noises cease immediately, and he knew that whoever was up there had seen him. It was clear they were all being watched.
But by who...?
He got up slowly and made his way to the door, holding up a finger to the others in the room. One minute.

Siegfried was grateful that the others allowed him to travel with them., making his job easier to finish.
"Thank you. I promise you that I will do everything in my power to help you with your quest."
But then, the blind mute hoisted his finger in front of them as if saying hold on a second. Siegfried then confronted him.
"Sire, is there a problem?" asked the knight.

So it was decided that their party will have a new member in a form of a knight named Siegfried. Everyone accepted him to be a part of the group.
Just then, Voldo started to hiss and suddenly raised a finger in front.
Sire, is there something wrong?" asked the German.
"Yeah Voldo. What is it?"

Lucius also wondered what was going on but said nothing. He just discreetly gripped the hilt of his scimitar and looked at his sister while whispering.
"Be careful, Cassie..."
He didn't know what to expect but in Osthreinsburg, anything was possible... mostly the worst...
Jacqueline barely arrived as Raphael was now confronting Nightmare. Still at the end of the corridor she was looking with some worry at her master confronting the dreaded Azure knight while taking back her breath. She was not used to run so fast and for so long but since Raphael ran so fast, worried for his beloved daughter, she had to follow. She gripped her weapons in expectance of some fight...

Well, the blind fellow's on the move. That can't be good, although from the look of it there's nobody else spry enough to join in the rafter party. Ishimaru thought to himself, moving slightly higher.
It would be somewhat annoying if someone started poking around up here; he aimed to remain unnoticed while the others, and presumably Tira, went about their business. He'd already gotten his nose stuck into some trouble he didn't want earlier, and it was harder to trick a blind man's senses to pass by them.

Tira could only hold her breath and hope that the blind man was not in top form today; awh damn it, when wasn't he?!
She glared at Ishimaru behind her, mouthing "this is your fault", and adding a pointed claw in the ninja's direction; just in case there was any confusion lingering in his idiotic mind about who was to blame for their current scenario.

Sire, is there something wrong?"
"Yeah Voldo. What is it?"
Voldo ignored them and stalked out of the room. Hopefully they wouldn't follow him. They would just get in his way.
He heard the doors clang shut behind him and he paused in the middle of the hall to get a feel for his whereabouts, listening closely for any other sounds. There had been someone watching them back in the Throne Room, he was sure of it!

Lucius really wondered where Voldo went but since the blind man told then to wait, he thought they should not follow. He didn't know why Voldo left but since the blind man was looking up just moments ago, he must have heard something. Yet it was better pretending not to have heard it and not follow so Lucius grabbed his sister's hand and told her and Siegfried:
"We don't have anything to do here. Let's go."
He whispered again to his sister while trying to take her to the door they came from not the one Voldo went to:
"Cassie be on your guards..."
He was eager to go find Pyrrha in Venice and to get out of here but right now he wanted to make like he didn't see anyone so the observer may be fooled while they would not be surprised by this person observing them if there was any and if Voldo left for a moment for another reason, then he would come back soon and they would go.
For now they should be on their guards while not looking like they were and begin to leave slowly, only go toward the door while also waiting for Voldo since he asked them to wait. But just the fact they may begin to leave may convince the observer to let go of his surveillance or attack them already. The observer may find it strange if they leave Voldo... This person probably already noticed him leaving the group... But Lucius also still wasn't fully trusting Voldo. Why did he left? To make them fall into some trap? Or was he on their side and he really noticed some danger? It was best to be near the exit... Probably...

Voldo ignored all of their words and walked on forward. Seeing that they won't gonna be doing in their place anything soon, Lucius lead the way towards their blind companion.
"We don't have anything to do here. Let's go."
The knight and the two siblings followed him from behind, curious on what was driving the blind man in going to that direction. W hile they were walking towards the pitch black direction, Lucius whispered something to his sister. "Cassie be on your guard..."
Yeah I got you there Lu. You better be prepared as well. We don't know what to expect in this place.[/i]

Lucius stopped and told his sister:
"We'll wait for Voldo to come back. Then I can't wait to leave this place."
