Personnality
Lucius is a quiet boy. He mostly observe and analyse before he speaks or throws himself into something. Yet his worries for his family may sometime influence him to do rash things for them. Compared to his older sisters, Sophitia's strong calm and kind presence or Cassandra's exuberance, he is a discreet person, mostly standing at the back and not speaking much. But he also lacks assurance and somehow feels he is not up to his sisters who are both admirable women in his standards.
Background
Lucius worked in his parents’ bakery until he turned fifteen years old. Then, more interested in the blacksmith job, he became Rothion’s apprentice and helped him doing weapons, leaving the bakery job to his parents.
Lucius always admired Sophitia for the deeds she did even if still very young he didn’t understand everything she really did. His parents didn’t believe Sophitia at first but his sister Cassandra did. And in his childish eyes, Lucius also believed what Sophitia told them about Soul Edge and Hespheatus, yet somehow he always was kept aside from all this since he was too young.
Some years later, Sophitia went back to fight against Soul Edge and his sister Cassandra shortly followed.
Somehow Lucius was envious of their adventurous lives and wished he could do that soon as well even if their parents always tried to convince the two girls to come back home and to convince Lucius that it was better to have a peaceful life than some adventurous and dangerous life.
When Pyrrha got kidnapped, the excitement of the adventurous life seemed to be over and Lucius truly realized the dangers and tragedies this kind of life also offered and he lost all taste for adventure.
He remained with his parents to try to comfort them as his sisters were going in search of his little niece. He also tried to take care of his little nephew and his brother-in-law since Lucius had the feeling Rothion had fell in a deep depression since Pyrrha has been kidnapped. He had the feeling Rothion blamed it all on himself for not being able to protect her… But it was only a feeling Lucius had, he never dared talk to Rothion about it, he feared to rub salt in the wound… So he always tried to talk about more lighthearted things to ease Rothion’s pain or didn’t speak at all. Yet he noticed Rothion was not feeling well since a while… With all these events, he was probably making himself sick with grief and worry… Indeed this tragedy was hard to take, Lucius was only the uncle but he missed his little niece very much and feared what happened to her. Was she dead? Was she mistreated? Everybody was worried, everybody was grieving. His mother Nike also was in a deep depression, his father was probably hiding his own… Sleeping in the room beside his parents he heard his mother cry each nights and it was heartbreaking… His brother-in-law became taciturn and depressed, his mother was always crying… Only his father kept some kind of strong facade yet he was also very hurt…
When she came back from her fruitless search, Sophitia also fell into a deep depression like her husband. Lucius once more didn’t know what to do : he did not want to pain his older sister by talking about Pyrrha either but didn’t know what to say to help her. Yet of course talk about Pyrrha or not, both her parents were not forgetting her…
Somehow Lucius wanted to flee this depressive ambiance. The place was not favorable to remain in a good mood… Only Patroklos’ childish and innocent presence gave some light to it. Or Cassandra when she was here…
Sophitia even went to pray for her daughter each days and one day, came back believing Pyrrha was still alive and she was ready to go after her again. Lucius admired her : Sophitia was so strong to continue trying to find Pyrrha… She must suffer so much…
Now Sophitia came back not long ago. It seemed she had not find Pyrrha since she came back without her… But this time he wanted to help her and accompany her in her fight. In the forge, he had secretly made some armour and weapon for himself and had tried to train by himself since some months to be able to fight. But to be different from his sisters and because he was getting used to make that weapon because of the Ottoman conquerors who always asked that weapon, he was using a scimitar instead of the Greek sword and shield.
He wanted to accompany Sophitia and get Pyrrha back, yet with his inexperience he wondered if he would be more of a hindrance than a help… and Patroklos needed to be protected as well… Maybe he should stay home… Maybe he wasn’t ready to go in an adventure yet… He shall do whatever his older sister judge wiser… What would help her most… He really wanted to support her the best way he could…
