Rock's eyes narrowed at Talim's words. So the Spirit Sword was real - and could be just as manipulative as Soul Edge himself...
No doubt it had taken a human form as well. It had to be the key to reaching Bangoo! He knew it was not advised, yet he could not let his son escape his clutches. Not again.
Looking at the young wing priestess, Rock bowed slightly. 'Thank you, Talim.'

Zwei smiled and saluted her before turning around and leaving. "Mai führen die Sterne und der Mond Sie während der dunklen Nächte, Viola." Viola looked at Zwei going away. His German accent was so charming… and what he told her while going away was so kind … She wished him the same even though she didn’t open her mouth to say it. Somehow she regretted to not be with him anymore but she had to go.
Yet she promised herself to take some sausage recipes for him, in hope of meeting him again. If he said that, it’s that he did intend on seeing her again… But then Viola shook her head : Why was she so… happy to see that guy? He only gave her back her bonnet and gave her some advices and wanted to give her his silver symbol to help her while telling her which road she should take… In fact, he had been very kind and helpful but she should not get attached to anyone. She didn’t know anyone and couldn’t trust anyone.
Holding her orb more tightly, she thought that she could only trust it. This mysterious orb seemed to know things she had to do, things that would happen… It was her guide… and that attachment to that young man was just a crush… a nefast thing… Love was nefast and always hurt people… She remembered that couple arguing in the store where she got her skirt and bonnet just some times ago… She appreciated that young man but she will not fall in love with him. Yet she will get him some sausage recipes… just to be kind and thank him…
But she then wondered, even if she felt too young for it, did she have a lover in her real life? Some fiance? She probably was not too young for it… Did she have friends? And mostly : Did she have a family? Who were they? Did they love her? Were they searching for her? What if she sees them and doesn’t recognize them? They will probably recognize her if they want her back but how can she know they are really her family? Even worse : What if they got rid of her because she was malfested? This idea suddenly scared and saddened her.
But then she felt reassured once more as she felt the comforting warmth of her orb. It will guide her… It will stay with her… For now, she had to go to Germany… Yet she still inwardly wondered why Germany if she was French… But whatever, her orb knew… So she got out of the city and went north.
(Viola is leaving the thread)
Quickly going throught the streets and canals of the city since he knew the place perfectly, having grown up there, Ludovigo arrived running to where Zwei was. But he noticed the man was alone. So going toward him he kept looking in every directions like a confused man looking for the girl the man was allegedly with. When he came in front of the moon guy, he bluntly asked him :
"Where is the girl who was with you?" The Italian man looked around some more before he added pointing at Zwei’s chest:
"Why do you have a moon on your chest?"
Before the werewolf could answer, he then threw another weird question at him while taking out the crucifix he just bought and looking at him threateningly.
"Are you a vampire?"

The ghost girl giggles as she hears Michael's plan. "Basically you taught yourself how to pick locks and sneak in. You lardo." She mocks him while a grin appears on her spectral face.
Michael laughs at the thought of him being a thief. "Shorty I wouldn't steal stuff. But if you count drinking blood then yes. I am a thief." The vampire says to her while he keeps his laughter down so no one hears that someone is in this house. Since night was falling he prepares to get ready to find a person and drain them of blood. The crimson fluid that flows within a human body. "Want to come shorty?" The blood sucker says to his dead lover's ghost.
Jovanna giggles and smiles. "Well okay. But I am not looking when you bite them." The ghost says to him as he prepares to walk out.
Michael remembers something about vampirsim. "Wait.. Vampire's can't enter without permission. In the unholy name of.." The vampire sighs and looks at the door.
Jovanna looks at Michael. "Wait they can't? Why?" The ghost asks while a look of sadness appears on her face.
Michael looks at her. "Something in the old stories. The vampire can't enter without permission from a mortal." Michael begins explaining the reason why a vampire can't enter a home. But somehow the other times allowed him to enter the home and steal blood. It must not affect him.

'Do you know anything about... Soul Calibur...?'Talim adjusted her hold on Pyrrha as she replied quietly, "The sword is Soul Edge's counterpart but at the same time, it is a part of of Soul Edge. I can sense that while their powers are different, they have the same origin." Her eyes moved up to Rock as she said, "Soul Calibur does not have the ability to heal or purify. It only has the power to destroy things or people with evil energy inside them. If one wished, one could use Soul Calibur to destroy Soul Edge. But..." Talim shook her head at the thought. "It's risky. Soul Calibur has a strong will of its own and those who weak, will just end up being manipulated. For now, that's all I can say about the sword, after what the wind has told me." Talim moved away from Rock and looked over to the window with Pyrrha in her arms. "The sword had sensed my powerful purifying abilities when I healed Zwei at the watermill village and it sent me visions, to lure me to it to become its next wielder. I was deceived by it before the wind showed me the truth of my dreams and visions..." Pyrrha had seemed fairly content with letting Talim hold her, but as the wind priestess continued to talk, she shifted slightly, seeming to grow uncomfortable. She wasn't willing to speak up for a long moment, but after Talim finished talking, she finally found her voice. "Miss Talim...? I don't think that's right. About Soul Edge." She muttered, looking reluctant to contradict someone who'd been so nice to her but remembering what Tira had told her. Talim had been talking like Soul Edge's power was evil...but Tira hadn't said anything like that! Soul Edge wasn't a bad sword, it was a good one. Tira had told Pyrrha it would belong to her when she grew up, and it would make it so she was never sick or weak again. And the strange man whose power had warmed her when she was cold, he was called Soul Edge, too. If Soul Calibur was that bad, cold power she'd felt in Othrheinsburg, wasn't the opposite power good...?

His head hanging shamed to look anyone in the eye, RayLeonardo practically dragged his feet into the great city of Venice. Wandering aimlessly in any direction, seeking something to give him purpose with desperation.
The diamond remaining shard of his spear in his hand. Every once in awhile he would look down at it and wonder what was to be done with it. He eventually stopped walking and wi
"I'll have to take it with me. It's a symbol of my sin, and I need to remember."
He placed it in his small bag, and held his head up to see where he was. He wasn't sure exactly where he was in the city, nor how long he was wandering.
"I can't go back to Talim and the others, if they knew what I really did..."
He paused as he heard something
"Shorty I wouldn't steal stuff. But if you count drinking blood then yes. I am a thief."
Out of curiosity he went to see who was speaking. The voice was coming from inside the house next to him.
He peeked inside the window, and there was a man speaking to someone but RayLeonardo didn't see anyone else. The man carried a rapier on him and while he appeared normal, The young man couldn't help feel there was something off about him.
He was speaking stuff about Vampires being restricted from entering buildings, and for a reason he was an exception.
Is he really a vampire? [/i He thought.
While he was thinking, he accidently bumped a vase and made it fall and break.
Oh no.
He ducked down, hoping the man didn't hear him.
Maybe this wasn't a good idea.

"I understand." Talim gave Rock a small smile, having a hint on why he wanted to know about Soul Calibur. She was worried but she knew it was futile to stop him. The only thing she could do, was follow the wind and in the end, if she could seal or destroy the two swords forever, then everything would work out. Talim then looked at Pyrrha as the young girl spoke up.
"Miss Talim...? I don't think that's right. About Soul Edge." She muttered, looking reluctant to contradict someone who'd been so nice to her but remembering what Tira had told her.
Talim was surprised to hear Pyrrha say that. If she had to guess, the child kidnappers must have been telling her lies. But in a way, Talim knew there was a small part of truth to it. In a gentle voice, she replied, "Soul Edge can be a good sword, Pyrrha. Legends say, a great man named Algol used it to rule his people with love and peace. However, not all men or women can be strong like Algol. They use Soul Edge for wrong reasons because Soul Edge tempts them to make bad decisions. Algol was strong, so he didn't go down the bad path." She bounced Pyrrha in her arms and chuckled. "Do you think you can be strong like Algol? Not even I, am confident that I can wield that sword without being affected dearie."
Talim ruffled Pyrrha's hair and said to Rock. "I'll take Pyrrha shopping now. Rock... may the wind be with you."
She had a feeling Rock was going to depart as well and there was no use stopping him. she could only hope that he would be alright on his journey.
Carrying Pyrrha she walked out and smiled to see a servant coming towards her with a gently brown mare. To Pyrrha, she asked cheerfully, "Do you like horses Pyrrha? Now, don't be afraid. Just stroke its head if you want."
She went closer to the horse who seemed to like the natural aura of nature she radiated. On the other hand, it was uneasy with Pyrrha's malfestation but after a few calming words from Talim, it steadied itself and looked at the small child curiously.
"Why do you have a moon on your chest?"
Before the werewolf could answer, he then threw another weird question at him while taking out the crucifix he just bought and looking at him threateningly.
"Are you a vampire?"
Zwei scoffed and gave the man a look of disbelief and amusement. Pointing up to the sky, he said, "Yea... As a vampire, you can almost hear me sizzling in my shoes as I'm melting beneath the sun."
Crossing his arms, he quirked an eyebrow at the man, who seemed to be recently frightened by something. "The important thing is, did something happen to you? You look like you saw a ghost."

'Rock... may the wind be with you.'
Rock stared at her for a moment. She was not a fool; she knew he was going.
Nodding one final time, he withdrew from the doorway, striding down the halls of the magnificent building.
Within minutes he had left the house, stopping to look back once more, before turning on his heel and heading for the edge of the city.

"Yea... As a vampire, you can almost hear me sizzling in my shoes as I'm melting beneath the sun."
Ludovigo then noticed it was still day indeed and stopped brandishing his crucifix while muttering:
"Indeed… But the sun will be setting soon… too soon…"
The day had passed so fast and the blond thief still wondered where Gisele was. When he didn’t see the girl who was supposed to be with the moon guy, he had first wondered with some worries if that man just killed her and if he was a vampire…
Not seeing his friends or knowing where they were was really worrying him since he met that vampire. That creepy encounter totally freaked him out. The last time he felt so lost and worried was when he was waiting for his mother to come back when he was still a little bambino... and she never came back... He felt the same anguish now... If there was not this vampire threat, he would not have worried and they would have come back one day, no need for them to hurry and him to worry… but now…
Crossing his arms, Zwei quirked an eyebrow at the man, who seemed to be recently frightened by something. "The important thing is, did something happen to you? You look like you saw a ghost."
Ludovigo gazed at Zwei with a worried look and nodded while muttering once more:
"I did…"
The man's affirmation also reminded the Italian thief of something. Apart from the vampire, he remembered he did saw something indeed, he still had the feeling there was another presence where he met the vampire, before he arrived, that he saw from afar. And the air was eerie… Did he saw someone else other than the vampire? He didn’t remember exactly; he was too frightened to remember all that happened. He then lifted his head and told Zwei :
"Perdonami for the rude way I spoke to you… I may look like a total idiot, I don’t normally go around with these things…"
He showed the crucifix, the garlic and the Holy water he just bought before he continued.
"… I’m not inquisition or anything like that… but I just saw a vampire… I know that sounds crazy but I did… There was this guy… lying down in the backstreet… I wondered if he was alright… I went to see him… He was unconscious so I poked him… and he woke up and grabbed my arm… and…"
Ludovigo seemed more nervous as he remembered.
"He yelled to me and threatened to sever my arm! And he had fangs! And glowing red eyes! And he seemed so angry and terryfing that I got scared and I had to pull with all my strength to get free! He was holding my arm so strongly that his fingers were getting into my flesh! I still have the mark of his hold! It was a vampire! And he wanted to kill me! Dio, I ran as fast as the Devil!"
Ludovigo glanced around once more with some worry and fear in his eyes before he continued.
"And now, there’s a vampire somewhere in the city… Later I went back to see if he was still there with all the anti vampire stuff I bought but he wasn’t. … I have a friend… Well, some friends… I worry for them… and for others. I mean, if a vampire invaded Venice… There could be some troubles… Can you imagine if there was a vampire during the Carnival? A vampire could easily take many preys and make many victims during that time…"
Indeed the Carnival of Venice was such a good way for anyone to get easy preys… for both thieves or vampires… Dampierre’s gang always made a lot of money during that time… But a vampire could do much worse than steal money… Ludovigo continued explaining to the black and white haired guy.
"Even without the carnival, a vampire roaming around can be very…"
But then feeling silly to talk about vampires in front of a stranger who was probably taking him for a fool, he suddenly shut up before he muttered almost to himself:
"I’m so tired… That vampire thing destroyed all my plans for today… which were to do nothing… Dio, I gotta go back… rest a while… before I…"
He suddenly remembered and asked Zwei :
"Oh. Yeah. What was… hum… What happened to the girl you were with? Is she alright? Where did she go? Your, huh… mentor?"
He asked the questions on a less suspicious tone, even a concerned tone but he did wonder if that girl was Gisele and she would have met the vampire… But somehow he could not even ask directly if that guy saw Gisele since she could have presented herself with another name… And maybe Gisele did not want this guy to whom she may be pretending to be his mentor or something to know she was friend with a bozo who was seeing vampires but whatever… Maybe it wasn’t even Gisele… But this guy probably didn’t kill her… No, he didn’t… Well, he was not a vampire at least…

Michael finishes talking to Jovanna about his abilities as a vampire but then he heard a crash. Almost like a vase breaking. Michael pulls out his Phantom Rapier and looks at the area where RayLeonardo was hiding.
"Show yourself coward! I do not have time for your petty games! Come on out and fight with honor! Or would you rather die with a blade in the back like the lardo you are!" He yells out hoping to get a response.
Jovanna looks at Michael and says to him. "Let me look for the lardo. Since the sun is still out. Okay?"
Michael rubs his chin. "Good thinking shorty. He should be over there." He points to the area where the broken vase is at.

Pyrrha frowned, listening intently to Talim's explanation. "I hadn't known you needed to be strong, too..." She murmured, looking down. Tira had told her the sword would MAKE her strong when she took it up...Tira had so much faith in her, it made Pyrrha sad when her weakness let her "guardian" down. Still, she nodded, agreeing with Talim. As Talim bounced her in her arms and ruffled her hair, the child seemed to brighten, giggling a little; despite her intense malfestation, the sound of her laughing was still pure and innocent. Pyrrha held onto Talim affectionately as the wind-priestess carried her out, but squirmed slightly in fear as she saw the brown mare being led over; Talim seemed pleased to see it, but Pyrrha was afraid of horses. Animals seemed increasingly hostile to the girl the older she got, and horses were ones big enough that their negative reaction to her presence left a frightful impression. Still...Talim seemed able to soothe the horse, and Pyrrha smiled a little. Talim was good with animals, just like Tira...that was a wonderful skill to have. Maybe she and Tira would be fast friends when Tira caught up to them. Feeling a little less nervous now, Pyrrha slowly and cautiously reached out and gently stroked the mare's head.

Did he just call me a lardo?
RayLeonardo stayed where he was hiding, trying to inch away.
Yeah, I think I'm out of here.
"Good thinking shorty. He should be over there."
Who is he talking to!? This guy is nuts. However, he does have a weapon and I have a shard...not really a chance I want to take.
As he was getting ready to leave he felt a weird tingly sensation. like a ethereal intangible force or will was surrounding him.
What's this...feeling?
He reached for his shard in defense but as he took it out, the diamond reacted and started to glow a faint red aura.
The hell, it's like its...reacting to something. But wha-huh?
As he turned, he saw the source of what was causing hiis sensation. It was a ghostly image of a woman floating above him, likke right at him. He jumped away from her, in surprise.
"WHAT THE HELL!?"

The horse's ears flicked back and forth as it enjoyed the comforting strokes Pyrrha was giving it. Talim smiled and said, "Sea? Esha no malfested coulna evila." She gave the horse a pat on the head before helping Pyrrha up on the saddle. Being short in stature, she had to stretch to her limits to put Pyrrha on the saddle safely before mounting it herself.
Once she was on, she wrapped her arms around Pyrrha to reach for the reins while the small child sat against her in the front. The sky was a brilliant and beautiful orange and the festive atmosphere of the city called out to them, beckoning them for a fun and relaxing night.
"Alright Pyrrha, once we get to the shop, just tell me which dress you would like ok?" Talim said affectionately. The poor girl had been through alot, it was time she had some happy surprises and gifts. And Talim couldn't help herself but she had a great love for children and she really wanted to see Pyrrha be happy and carefree.
A loud chirp made her look up and she beamed as Alun flapped out of bedroom window and plopped itself into Pyrrha's arms, not caring about the aura of malfestation around her. It was an intelligent bird and if its mistress was spending time with this girl, then she was a good girl.
Talim laughed and said, "Pyrrha, you can hold and play with my bird until we get to the shop." With a tap of her feet on the horse's side, they set off at a steady pace while the servants made way to escort her down the manor's path.
Zwei bit the side of his cheek and replied, "Ermmm... yea, I haven't found her yet. I sorta got sidetracked." Hmmm, but he had searched through half of the city and he still couldn't find Talim. Maybe it would be a good idea to send Ein out to do a quick scout for him. Then again, that could be a suicidal idea.
Looking back at the frightened man, Zwei wondered if he really did see something frightening. Was it an out of control malfested? And a vampire at that? If so, it would be a really bad situation. He would have to take care of that and make sure no one got hurt as well as try to help the vampire regain control.
"Hey, if you don't mind, can you show me where you found this vampire?" Zwei hefted up his Kreuzgriff and laid the flat of the blade against his broad shoulders and said coolly, "If you want, I'll take care of the situation and make sure nothing bad happens to any of the civilians. I don't need to be paid or anything either. I'm just doing it for the safety of the city."
Zwei's eyes moved to the side when a couple of fancy young ladies was staring at his cool pose and chit-chatting to their friends. "Wow, is he a mercenary? He looks so manly. I wonder if he's on a hunt or bounty?"
"I heard him say he's not doing something for money, but just for the safety of the city! He looks like a bad boy but he's so heroic," swooned one of the girls.
Zwei sighed and turned back to Ludovigo. "Anyway, with the state you're in, you can use all the help you're going to get so...." With a grin, he said, "Let's get the hunt started."[avatar]http://oi48.tinypic.com/34pfl1h.jpg[/avatar]

Ludovigo stared at Zwei for a while wondering if Zwei was another monster or a good guy. The ladies near seemed to think he was a good guy but of course, he was handsome… Not like Ludovigo who felt some jealousy toward the good looking man. Yet now was not the time for jealousy so the blond thief told Zwei :
"Alright. But I told you he wasn’t here anymore but I’ll guide you where he was… Thank you for helping."
Somehow he was glad to have found help but somehow to see the vampire again was scaring him totally. But he stated walking toward where he saw the vampire.

Jovanna giggles as he jumps away. "Hello strappo. Way to ruin my lover's way when he is hungry. I hope you like your blood being everywhere." She says in a scary yet cheerful tone.
Michael marches his way to RayLeonardo and a evil glare is his in eyes. "State your name child. So that way you can die in honor." He says to RayLeonardo while Michael places his rapier to Ray's neck. Ready to give a clean cut to kill him. "Che la morte facilitare la vostra anima all'inferno."

I'll be sure to pick a good one!" She said earnestly, bouncing a little in the saddle with excitement. She seemed to be growing more used to Talim's assurance being correct, as she wasn't hesitant at gently playing with Alun when the bird came to her...it was a nice bird, and Pyrrha liked it. Tira liked all kinds of birds, but Pyrrha had not been fond of the gigantic crows that made their home in the castle, and those were Tira's favorites...
