Once Sophitia had finished cleaning the kitchen, she made her way upstairs to check on Patroklos. Leaning against the door, she smiled as she heard him playing with Berach. Turning around, her eyes travelled to the end of the hall, where she saw Durante in a towel looking rather... lost. What was -?
Ah, of course. His room!
She walked over to him, blushing slightly, before saying kindly, 'I do apologise, I had neglected to tell you where you're sleeping. Your room is right here - between Berach's and Elysium's.'
She led him to the door. 'Is there anything else I can help you with?'[avatar]http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_memprpRYlj1rab50go1_250.png[/avatar]

Durante followed Sophitia to his room.
"Thank you very much, Sophitia. There's nothing else I need, so have a good night."
He then walked inside the room and gently closed the door behind him. He places his armor and pack on the floor and rummages through his things. Once he finds his robe, he takes off both of his towels and puts the robe on. He grabs his sword and rests it next to his bed in case something happens during the night. Hopefully not, but you never know in these dark days. He then lies his back onto the soft bed. It's been a while since he slept in something so comfortable. In fact, it was probably too comfortable. With no time to reflect, he ends up falling asleep.

"Yes, the terrible being of the forest." He takes his horned wolf helmet out from under his cape, reaching over and putting it on top of a jacket stand, gently pushing it closer and closer to Patroklos. With its arms stretched out and the head looking down at him, it truly was a worthy adversary for the young warrior. "Neither fully man, nor fully beast, it is a terrifying monster that has threatened town after town! The people need a hero, the people need a warrior of justice! Come, show him your might!"
And so Berach and Patroklos went back and forth for the hours of the night. The warrior and the warrior-to-be played, fought, play-fought, and created plenty of adventures to trek upon, and all track of time was completely lost. Even Berach himself was not quite sure when both of them had collapsed from it all and he had crawled off to his room, leaving his wolf-helmet on Patroklos' shoulder as a sort of trophy for his accomplishment. Ah. To be young again.

A few hours after midnight, Durante gets out of bed. After all, he has to meet with Hephaestus at the break of dawn. Durante stands up and disrobes. He stuffs his robe back in his pack and starts putting on his underclothes and gambeson. Now comes the hard part, the armor itself. One of the many reasons why a squire often accompanies a knight is to help him get into his armor. It's incredibly difficult, if not impossible for the wearer to put on plate armor by oneself. However, he didn't want to wake anyone at the dead of night. It can't be helped, he'll have to try by himself.
He starts down with the feet and legs, trying them down with the straps. Then the breastplate and fauld, strapping and tying the front and back by the shoulders and waist. Well, so far it wasn't as difficult as he thought. He then tries his arms. Unfortunately, he can't reach the straps of one arm with his opposite arm as they are placed and need to be tied... Well shit.

Then again, Berach should be up to. If not then he will wake him up. Given his passion of the arts, I think it would pain him more to not get his weapon forged by the gods by the maker himself than lose a few hours of sleep. So he puts his helmet back on and walks out of his room. He then heads over to Berach's room next door and lets himself him.
He walks over to the sleeping druid lump of man and shakes him, but not violently.
"Wake up, Berach. Remember that we have to meet up with Hephaestus at dawn."

"Mmm...ma'am, please, not in front of the others...a-aahh, it feels..." Then the shake.
"GYAH!" He yelped, jumping up sharply--landing not quite on the bed, more half on the headboard and half on the floor, landing in a sprawling pile. He looked up a bit sheepishly at Durante. "Oh. Right. Hi. Hello. ...Right. Hephaestus."

He paused as Berach laid himself down in an awkward position.
"...yes, Hephaestus. When you're done getting ready, you can help me with my armor."
He then promptly walks out of Berach's room and back into his own, getting his belongings packed.

Berach stayed lying on the ground, embarrassed as Durante made his exit. After he left, he quietly scooted over and picked up his cape, armor, and clothes, then quietly made his way over to the bath to clean up.
It didn't take too much longer before he came out, fresh and clean and dressed, sans for his helmet. He ran a few fingers through his hair, letting it slide through. He'd have to hunt another wolf sometime. But first, priorities. It was still too early in the morning for everyone else to be up, and it was a half hour until dawn was truly here.
He wrapped his cape around him and went outside.
The trees surrounded him. The wind coursed around him. The remnants of the stars in the sky were being enveloped by the soft blue of a sky awaiting the sun's rise. He lifted up one muscular arm and rested a well-worn hand on a nearby tree, softly stroking its bark. In this one part of nature rested hundreds, if not thousands, of years worth of memory, wisdom, and power. Berach closed his eyes.
"Who art I, but a humble young man in service of the Goddesses? May Mother Earth watch over me today. May Mother Nature guide me. May Mother Ocean protect me. May Mother Fire caress me. And may mine hands guide thou further. Valiant Nuada of the white sword, who subdued the Firbolg of blood; for love of the Tribe, for pains of Danu's children, hold thy shield over us, protect us all. Hold thy shield over us, protect us all. Danu beloved! Mother of the Shining Ones; Shield, oh shield us, Lady of nobleness... And Brigit the beauteous, shepherdess of the flocks, safeguard thou our animals, encircle us together. Safeguard thou our animals, encircle us together. And Ellen, beneficent, benign, Governess of the trackways of power; Invoke the star of power upon the path, guide well thou ourselves, shield our procession. Guide well thou ourselves, shield our procession. O Mother! O Maiden! O Crone of Wisdom! Be the Triad with us day and night; on the machair plain or on the mountain ridge, be the Triad with us and her cloak around us. Be the Triad with us and her cloak around us."
With that, he peeled off some bark off the tree, gently stripping the tree and the sap and moss underneath, gently slipping them into his pouch.

Durante soon exits out of the house, with his weapons and other things ready at his side. He looks around looking for Berach, but then soon finds him storing away tree bark.
"Right then, can you help me get this part tied, and we can get a move on."
He points to the uncovered parts of his arms, the steel plates loosely starting to fall off of him.

Berach nods and heads over, picking up the plates as they fall.
"Man, I don't know how you do this by yourself. I thought these were supposed to be two-man jobs."
He was very unfamiliar with how armor worked, and it soon showed. He was putting the plates on backwards and tying the belts up backwards, and it took a lot of (very patient) guidance from Durante before he finally had everything in a proper place and tied up well.
"Damn. If it's just the arms like this alone, how the hell do you do the legs?"

"They are two-man jobs, but I can take some... shortcuts or make modification to get it to stick... most of the time anyway."
Durante looks down at his legs as Berach helps him properly put his armor in place. "Well, it isn't too hard in comparison. After all, I can use both of my arms to reach anywhere on my legs. I doubt anyone can tie a knot with just one hand, you know?"
As the adjustments are finished he flexes his arms to make sure the armor is articulating properly.
"Great, everything seems to be in order. Thanks for the help. Anyways, shall we get going?"

He looked down at the armor. He'd have to try making a knot with one hand someday. It could be an interesting challenge! At Durante's next words, though, he looked up and blinked.
"Eh? Shouldn't we say goodbye to our hosts, at least? I mean, I know it's way early, but wouldn't it be a little rude to just bail right away without even a tip of the hat?"

Durante then stretches his neck as he replies.
"Indeed it would, so I figured it would be a good idea to visit them after we visit Hephaestus. I don't think it's a good idea to walk them up now, do you?"

Berach nodded. "Ah. Definitely a good point. All right, then, lead on."

"Then let's go."
And thus, the two of them head back to the Eurydice Shrine once again.
