Algol sits upon his throne, his head being supported by his arm while his arm is perched on the arm rest. He contemplates on this unusual turns of events that Soul Edge and Soul Calibur have their own corporal forms rather than just mere spirits.
"The soul swords... what caused them to be like this?... How strong are they now?"
He gets off of his throne, which instantly vanishes, and hovers towards the edge of the tower, staring off into the chaotic environment.
"In either case, I must find a way to restore them to their original blades. While they are strong, in the end, they are only mere tools. It would be easier to control them then."
He figures that he should go to the real world rather than just wait in Astral Chaos. After all, nothing of great significance is happening inside the realm. However, the question that lies in his mind is where to drop himself off?

The great hero king finally decides his target. He senses Soul Calibur has reappeared and he figures if anything, now would be a good time to ask her some questions on what's going on. He opens an Astral Gate in front of him and jumps straight right in, ready to make his appearance to the world once again.

Astral Chaos... a dimension no mere human being stepped upon...
The atmosphere stirred, before a portal tore its way into Astral Chaos, a demonic being draped in black emerged from the depths of the portal, the tear vanishing as soon as the demon stepped foot onto the grounds of the dimension.
Soul Edge removed his hood, his skull igniting once again, his skeletal hands flexing as they too sparked into flames, before the demonic sword glided across the Tower of Glory to face the Hero King.
Algol. Inferno snarled telepathically, his drone echoing across Astral Chaos.[avatar]http://imageshack.us/a/img812/6305/souledgescrp150x124.jpg[/avatar]

Before even Inferno called Algol's name, the Hero King was already in front of him, lying back on his throne looking up at the distorted sky. He then tilts his head back down when he heard his name, his fingers rhythmically tapping on the armrest and looking into his flame covered eye sockets with a curious expression.
"Oh? What do you want from me Inferno?"

Inferno smirked a ghastly grin, turning his back to Algol to observe the realms of Astral Chaos, his hollow eyes scanning the dimension before he let out a drone.
A simple request. Soul Edge vaguely hinted, before facing Algol once again.
Join me... [avatar]http://imageshack.us/a/img812/6305/souledgescrp150x124.jpg[/avatar]

Algol's left lower arm raises upward as he rests his head on his hand as his right hand still taps on the armrest. He then speaks in a more serious tone.
"Oh? That seems quite the request if you ask me. Why should I join you? Especially after you forced me to kill my own son."

Inferno circled the man slowly.
He was not fit to wield me, he drawled, his voice echoing darkly. He was too weak to possess my power - and suffered the consequences, too jealous of you and the weapon you wielded. He should have known, he finished lazily.
Now... why should you join me? I think the question is, why not?

Algol lets out a short burst of laugher at the cursed sword's response.
"I think the idea of a mere sword asking its wielder is quite amusing. If anything, you should return to your master and serve me once again."

A mere sword?! Inferno replied, you dare to speak in that way to me? I am much more than a mere sword, Algol - you would do well to know that. Be grateful that I am standing here now! After what you did to spread peace instead of destruction when wielding me - I wonder why I do not claim my revenge now.
He stopped his circling. He was never going to persuade Algol at this rate. After all, it appeared he had had no interest in anything since the death of Arcturus.
Wait. Arcturus...
A plan began to formulate in Inferno's head. He leaned down, placing his skeletal hands on the arms of the Throne, so that his face was inches away from Algol's.
Don't you want your son back...? he said, his voice dangerously quiet.[avatar]http://imageshack.us/a/img812/6305/souledgescrp150x124.jpg[/avatar]

Algol smirked at bit at Inferno's enraged reaction, but he did have a point. He was more than just a regular sword. However strong it has gotten though, he was still a sword in the end.
When Soul Edge asked about reviving his son, his tone immediately shifted. Algol bat away his bony arms off of his throne and his eyes menacingly darted at him.
"You take me for a fool? As strong as you are, not even you have the power to fully resurrect the dead."

"You take me for a fool? As strong as you are, not even you have the power to fully resurrect the dead."
Inferno stood up straight. Of course he knew that - he had just been lying through his teeth! But perhaps if he could persuade Algol otherwise...
That is correct. I do not. I cannot fully resurrect the dead - alone. This is why you are of use! Your indomitable will prevented you from becoming a host when you wielded me. Your power is enough to have created a sword to equal and oppose my own. That, along with my growing power, and plenty of souls, will present satisfying results.
He summoned his swords out of thin air and twirled them around in his hands expertly, eyeing the man seated before him.
You know you want to, Algol. Join me on my quest to eliminate Soul Calibur, and I will see to it that Arcturus is returned to you.[avatar]http://imageshack.us/a/img812/6305/souledgescrp150x124.jpg[/avatar]

The thought had now just occurred to him. A sword made for absolute destruction and chaos offering to revive someone? Not only that, but against his very creation made to stop him?
Algol couldn't restraint himself. He was laughing his head off at the offer given to him.
"You? Return my son? You're a sword who seeks nothing but destruction. The very thought of you offering to revive someone? You are a pathetic liar."
Algol then recomposed himself upon his throne.
"I would suggest you get out of my sight before I decide into reclaiming you once again right now."

In a split second, all pretense vanished and Inferno snarled in anger, bringing a flaming longsword to Algol's neck. He should have known this would happen - the man was not stupid.
And who are you to give me orders? he growled, you may have wielded me before, but years have passed since then! I serve nobody, least of all the likes of[/i] you. I am a piece of metal no longer - and you will regret your decision in time. Be certain of that![/color][/size][avatar]http://imageshack.us/a/img812/6305/souledgescrp150x124.jpg[/avatar]

Algol didn't even flinch at Inferno's threats and his sword to his neck. He was immortal, so what good would that do if his neck was slashed open?
"You of all things should know exactly who I am. You especially know that I can force you to serve me willingly or not. Years may have passed but look at you now. You were defeated. crushed. shattered. and now weak. You are too weak to serve me, and you think that I should serve you? Such insolence. Your idle threats don't change a thing."

Inferno lowered his sword slowly, glaring at Algol, before turning his back to him, his swords vanishing into thin air. Very well. You may be powerful, wretched man, but soon - very soon - that will all change. When it does, you will be my first target. You may think my threats 'idle', but enjoy it while you are able. I assure you, it will not last very long! [avatar]http://imageshack.us/a/img812/6305/souledgescrp150x124.jpg[/avatar]
