As he poured some tea for her, he replied, "Nice to meet you Setsuka, I am Durante." He then poured tea for himself and asked, "How you fight him? What weapon?"

"Oh indeed. It may look strange to you that I seem to have no weapon..." Setsuka then took her umbrella and showed the handle. Then she began unsheathing some blade but not taking it out completely, only showing it to Durante. "This, is my weapon." After she sheated back her blade, she asked Durante: "And what are you doing here in Japan? If it is not indiscreet to ask..."

Durante was a bit surprised about her hidden blade, but he quickly regains composure. He sits straight up and replies, "I in Japan because now Europe boring. I am mercenary and I want see and try new things. Last mission interesting..." He briefly takes a sip of tea, but how he's doing that while still wearing his helmet is anyone's guess. "I hear Japan invade Korea again. Perhaps what Mitsurugi do? Anyways, never seen hidden blade before. Very fascinating" After speaking for so much, he starts to wish his Japanese was more fluent.

Setsuka explained: “It is not that I want to attack people in a disloyal way or treacherously by surprise, I have honour to not do so, but as a lady, I cannot walk with a blade like any warrior… Some women do wear weapons but it is not that well seen…” She then gazed at the boat where Mitsurugi talked with a sailor previously. “I shall have to go ask this boat soon to know where they are going but it wouldn’t surprise me indeed that they will go to Korea…” She then muttered: “I hope he will fight me then, I won’t keep following him around the world like this until he decides he wants to fight me… If, he does one day…” She then addressed Durante again: “But so, you will go to Korea for the war? Is that your last mission you're talking about? Or something else?” She showed Michael not far. “Do you think this young man over there is also coming for this war? There are rarely strangers in the country so when foreign people come, it always means there is something going on…”

Durante replied, "Hidden weapon still useful. What happen if Roogi never want fight you?" He takes another sip and replies, "Last mission something else. Only go war if someone pay me." When she pointed out to Michael, he just shrugs. "No idea. Very possible, or just weird guy."

“He does look pale… Maybe he comes from some northern European country? I think people are really fair-skinned there.” She then added: “Indeed I do wonder what I shall do if ‘Roogi’” She outlined a smile at the name. “still doesn’t want to fight me… I shall have to force him somehow… I think it is insulting that he pushes me away like this… He almost never refuses a duel with someone…” Setsuka suddenly remembered again that her master told her to not get revenge for this fight since it was a fair and loyal fight. He did seem to admire and respect his adversary… Even if she always pushed that impression away, Setsuka even had the strange feeling he somehow had good memories of the fight when he told her… She suddenly wondered if Mitsurugi would have agreed to something with her master to not fight her… Or maybe it was just that she was a woman… or only that he considered her not worthy enough… Maybe she should have to show him her value somehow… and maybe also ask him about any talk he would have had with her master… But somehow, she wanted to get that revenge since with this fight, Mitsurugi took away from her the most important person in her life… and it still hurt… But getting out of her thoughts, she changed the subject again. “So now you finished your mission and are searching for another? Aside from the war, I do not know what is happening here… Though you shall certainly find something, there is much things going on… Will you go ask if they need your services for the war?”

He first looks at the tea house the stranger went in "Do not think so. Strange he has red eyes but not albino." Then he turns his head back to Setsuka, pouring some more tea for her. "Probably take another mission. War tiring and too long sometimes. Find something simpler first."
He scratches his chin as he takes a bit of time to figure out his next response, and then speaks up. "If you know Roogi's goal maybe use as advantage to fight you. Be obstacle in path to that goal." After saying that, he's not exactly sure why he's giving her ideas to fight him. He probably thinks that it's not his business to stop her in her quest for revenge since she should be the one to guide her own life.

Mitsurugi walked inside of the tea house. He was welcomed, he soon found himself sitting down at a table. "Sake." He said as he placed his sword down and had his eyes glued down in a focused manner, the sun was going to set soon and he needed to rest as much as he could. Knowing that blasted girl she was going to follow him, Mitsurugi could smell her scent. He scoffed as he saw a young woman approach him with a plate with his sake and a cup.
"Thanks." He said as he took the bottle and the cup and sat it down on the table. He drank from his cup slowly. He didn't want to overdo it, he didn't want to doze off before the ship sailed off. One thing was for sure, sake and Mitsurugi were allies more than enemies. Heishiro drank some more as he looked around for a moment, his eyes met with the woman. A blade like stare was launched towards her, signalling he hadn't forgotten her words. The time would come, but right now Mitsurugi wished not to have his adventure spoiled by needless bloodshed.

For a moment Setsuka had been without words. She wondered if Durante suggested her to fight for Korea? For a second, the idea even crossed her mind. If she was his enmy in the war, Mitsurugi would have to fight her... But then she thought that she couldn't betray her own country... Her master's country... Funamoto Kokonoe would be disappointed... Even if she had never felt accepted here except by her master and was now often being suspected of being a Christian because of her European looks, she would not betray Japan... But Durante's idea may have sense, he did not tell her to work for Korea but she could be in Mitsurugi's way for other goals, it would be good... She pondered about the idea for a while and nod in agreement. Then she noticed Mitsurugi. The blade like stare he gave her didn't intimidate her and in fact, encouraged her since it showed he didn't ignore her completely. He would fight her soon... She turned again toward Durante and told him: "Well, I think there is a lot of pirates and brigands around. Maybe you could try to be hired against them. Or you could go see a play of this new style, kabuki theater. It does not pay of course but it's interesting. You should see it once."

Durante looked at the two having a bit of a stare down. In that moment, he wondered to himself how strong Mitsurugi and Setsuka actually are. After all, he has never seen either of them fight. He felt a bit tempted to see how well Mitsurugi fights while drunk, but decided against it for now. When Setsuka talked to him again, he perked up at the suggestion of fighting pirates and brigands. "Oh, sounds like good idea... They have a lot of loot too..." But then he tilts his head. "Never heard of Kabuki."
((I don't think they had kabuki at this time period yet. :x However, it's interesting to note that early Kabuki actually consisted of all-women actors.))

Oups... You're right. Kabuki was invented in 1603 and I kind of confused the year we are, writing my fanfic during SCV... Setsuka said: You know I suddenly had this idea of doing some kind of new theatre style... I had a vision... So Setsuka invented kabuki. It was indeed invented by a woman but of course not Setsuka and she will have to wait to see some play... So sorry for my mistake... Okay then really Setsuka must have talked about another kind of art to see maybe like some sarugaku show... (Some kind of circus like thing...) Since you are at the dock, I would suggest you try to find about if any pirates are especially threatening the area...

Durante pondered on her suggestion. It does seem rather intriguing to see how other cultures deal with entertainment. "Perhaps I go see it when I have free time." He also nods. "Seems like good place to ask about pirates."

As Michael walks into the little shop he adjusts his hat to make sure that his red eyes aren't shown and he sees both fear and awe in the people's eyes. He sits down next to a blond woman and smiles. "Lovely day huh?" Michael says to the woman with a umbrella as he orders some sake.

Setsuka turns to him and answers with a small smile. From near she noticed that the man really did have red eyes… She heard about some things when she travelled in Europe so she wondered about the cause why this man was like this. But she told herself it was none of her business and she would leave him alone with this since he didn’t do any trouble. “Indeed. It seems many people thought that too. There is a lot of people around here today.” It would indeed be a lovely day if it were not for Mitsurugi still breathing… and sitting near… Yet he had to sit near then she could keep an eye on him… But she tried to get out of her obsessed thoughts and continued. Anyway Mitsurugi said the time will come and even if she hated to admit, he was a man true to his word. “So you come from Europe as well? What are you doing here? Are you a mercenary?”

Michael looks at Sestuka with a little disgust for being called a mercenary. "What a joke. I wouldn't be one of those damn mercenaries." Michael drinks some sake but doesn't like the taste but he downs it pretty quickly.
