"Hello, Siegfried. It's been a while hasn't it?"
Siegfried turned toward Durante. He was glad the armored man seemed happy to see him so he shyly smiled back at him even if he still didn’t remember his name. He’ll have to ask again…
Then Berach came in a very friendly way which surprised Siegfried but still made him feel more at ease. It also made him lose some of his distrust toward what they were doing even if he still wondered. He didn’t know them very much but they seemed like good guys. Yet before he could answer anything to any of them, Elysium spoke:
"Or have you decided to put an end to my plans?"
The German knight froze and his small smile disappeared as he stared at Elysium with a slightly cold gaze as well, mixed with some trouble and regret. Soul Calibur saved his life yet she also had some bad sides that made him go against her last time. He had to destroy both the swords, yet he also understood her feelings. He betrayed her, it was normal she didn’t like him. After a moment of silence he answered:
"It depends what are your plans. But I want to destroy Soul Edge."
Looking back at Berach again, he continued.
"And I want to save the world."
Saving the world may mean from her as well… Maybe he should not have answered like this but whatever. Anyway Elysium knew him probably more than anyone else, as much as Soul Edge did as well… He probably couldn’t hide from either of them.

Elyisum sighed. "Isn't it obvious? I plan to rid of Soul Edge from this world once and for all."

Siegfried then said:
"Then it seems we are on the same side. And I would like to offer you my help." He didn’t want to add more to not offend Elysium. She really was intimidating. He would like to have good relations with her but didn’t know if it was possible anymore after what happened and since he would have to keep watching her if it he could hang out with them.

Elysium seems weary of his proposal considering his betrayal. However, she knows that he could be useful... if he cooperates. She then spoke of in a very strict tone.
"If that's the case then you need to follow my orders. However, if you dare to betray me again..."
She then places her finger over his chest.
"I won't hesitate reversing your revival."
After Siegfried's clash with Nightmare at the Lost Cathedral, his body was torn apart. However, Soul Calibur granted him a spirit shard to restore his body in order to allow him to fight Nightmare again. The spirit shard still resides in his body, and not only can it heal people, but it can be used as a weapon as well.

Siegfried understood. The blond knight knew he owed Elysium his life. And right now they had the same goal, but if it should change and he should have to betray her again, he didn’t fear for his life either. If he had to die to save the world he would do it without regrets.
Yet he still felt guilty toward Elysium, they had been through much together, it really pained him to betray her last time and he would indeed like to have good relation with her. But that was always after the priority of saving the world. Yet maybe both could be achieved... He nodded to Elysium and said:
"I understand."

Elysium replied, "Very well then. With that out of the way..."
She turned around and saw that Durante already changed out of his normal black cuirass with with crystal maille they just found.
"I see you two already decided who should wear it..."
"Yea, I'm surprised it even fits me..."

Siegfried looked at Durante and noticed the aura around the armour. So that is why they opened that coffin… It makes sense… He then thought that since the armour was magical, it probably would have fit anyone (probably they had to be deemed worthy by Soul Calibur first but size probably didn’t matter).

Berach was leaning over on a shovel, having watched the entire discussion passively. Most of the conversation had gone entirely over his head, though there were some interesting things still picked up. Siegfried and Elysium were familiar with each other, check. Elysium had apparently revived Siegfried, check. The two weren't on the warmest terms, check. And Elysium apparently had some secrets that meant her noble goals weren't all entirely too noble.
Well, that was obvious from the get-go. All gorgeous women tended to have some darker secrets or motives. "Femme fatales", the French called them. Still, it was nice having someone so good-looking around and she wasn't exactly trying to stab them in their sleep, so.
He looked over at Durante, watching him fit on the armor. "Feeling anything new or empowering?"

Durante twists, turns, and flexes his body to see how it adjusts. The maille part seems to weigh onto his body more than his cuirass, but the crystal layered on top of it doesn't seem restricting. Not to mention, it certainly stands out more than his black armor. There does seem to have a faint aura to it, but for now, it doesn't have any meaning to him.
"Not really... unless you count feel shinier."

Siegfried looked at Durante with his new armor.
Feel shinier… Siegfried remembered he felt strange when he had his crystal armor. The fact it was so shiny was interesting indeed and he remembered he felt less dirtied by his sins and more determined to destroy Soul Edge, well in fact, it probably was Soul Calibur who gave him that strength to get over his self-hate and act against Soul Edge.
Elysium saved his life in both ways… In a physical way since she protected him from the explosion and revived him and in a psychological way since she helped him overcome his self-loathing and get stronger. He really owed her much… Since then, even if he often felt guilty and sometimes still loathed himself he kept his determination to continue and fight. He told Durante:
"I think you’ll feel stronger once you’ll be confronted to something…"

Berach reached over and gave the breastplate a knock with his knuckles, letting the crystal shimmer in the light. "This thing's the real surprising part. Looks like it's made out of glass. Hopefully it holds up and doesn't, uh, break."

Siegfried knew that the glass part was probably the hardest part since it was Soul Calibur's magic. But indeed it was kind of strange for^people to see it like that...

Durante looks down as he taps the cuirass. "I doubt it is made of glass. Glass isn't exactly ideal material to make armor with since that would be too brittle."
Elyiseum soon chimed in. "Of course it isn't made of glass. We found what we're looking for, so we better get moving soon."
Durante nods. "Right, let's rebury him so we can get going."

Berach nodded and went to work. He was the one with the shovels, after all. And arms the size of wooly mammoths.
He took the poor man's casket and closed it once more, resting a small satchel of herbs on it and muttering an irish prayer of peace in the afterlife. With that, he then slid it back into the hole and went to work, dual-wielding the shovels with amazing efficiency. He tore through the dirt with just as much fury and power as before, effortlessly sending down packet after packet onto the coffin and filling the hole up once more.
When finished, he stabbed the shovels into the dirt and lift up his animal helmet, wiping his forehead off with a burly arm. "Whew. Hopefully we never have to do anything like that again."

Siegfried wondered indeed if they would have to do something like that again… What was Elysium after? She was a sword and now she had been looking for an armor possessing her magic so she may have other relics to seek… maybe a sword with her magic if she didn’t want to become one herself again… But he asked to the trio:
"… Who was that person? And what are you looking for exactly?"
